you really ought to change your sig banner to read "Reoville" rather than -

LOL

T

um... yup, agreed :)
I do as well, except for the "Reoville" part. I understand that REO owners are Reonauts, not Reovillagers. Steamer861, here is your new identification...stuff.

...and your badge. Enough Provarinati have infiltrated Reoville, it was fairly easy to duplicate their equipment.

The Provarinati are happy to embrace those of dual citizenship. :D

How amazing! You get an "Is your device as good as XXX" thread and it doesn't turn into a bloodbath.

I've been in the ProVari forum and I feel there is a lot of snobish people there. I know for fact you are not one of them. I always enjoyed your posts there. I think the people of Reoville are a lot nicer, in Reoville we don't care if you use another device as long as it keeps you off the analogs. I own 2 ProVari and soon to be a half dozen Reos I prefer the Reo and I'll tell anyone that the ProVari is the absolute best VV Mod on the market. I have a friend at work who is using one of my ProVari for the last couple of weeks and will soon be using one of my Reos. I want her to make the best informed decision she can. If it's the PorVari, Reo, or she stays with her spinner. As long as she doesn't go back to analogs I'm happy for her. I do know there are a lot of people barging into the ProVari forum to bash it and be a troll but we don't seem to have problems like that here. And I for one am thankful for that.

Is a Reo as good as a dripper? - its better IMO, is the short answer, mostly because its the same or better vape without the topping up hassle all the time.

I don't see a problem with using multiple different brand devices, each to their own, whatever works is good. It's all good. I have a few ego's with dripping atties (rda's) that I sometimes use for work/home/sampling juices. I'm really digging unregulated mods, they just do it for me, add that to a bottom feed dripper, and I really like it. I recently bought a few more Reo's, could have bought whatever I wanted, I just got more Reo's.

It is not uncommon for Reo owners to want more Reo's after a while, I find it disturbing, but also comforting in that its "not just me". This is the only downside of Reo ownership that I can find.

I Love my Provari's there great PV's telling someone to buy one is just good advice! I'm pretty sure I will also Love my Reo's
A Benz with a 5 or higher on the trunk lid is a status symbol a Provari or a Reo is just a good choice :)

Reos and ProVaris complement each other very nicely!

I don't think Provari or Reo is a status symbol, either. I totally agree that they are VERY, VERY good choices for those "ready" for the price point (yeah, duh, they're expensive, not all of us were willing to see the value at first ;)). One or both of these products are the "correct" choice for most everyone looking for an upgrade (well, those high-end tube mech people will disagree, although even Vwls owns a Reo ;)).

The illustrious Provarinatis Batitude and Ocelot are ECF members of whose advice and knowledge I (and many here) appreciate and respect greatly. I laugh (I think it's a joke, right?) at the thought of a Reonaut/Provarinati grudge. Those of us who "pay attention" on ECF know and respect that these two "camps" complement each other and represent some of the best, most knowledgeable members of ECF. And I'm humbled to be part of one of these groups.

I think the Reo/ProVari combo gives many vapers just the experience they are looking for. And we watch out for each other - or we should. ;)

...
If you're interested in trying a bottom feeder like a Reo, you can first try the poor man's Reo - a Vapage VMod. Half the price of a Reo and my guess works just as well.

{cough} Just like a Vamo works as well as a ProVari...Sigh. After enduring abuse for our mod choice, I am sadden that a High Priest of the ProVarinati would engage in AntiReoism.

Madam ProVarinati Princess. Viscountess of Vamora. Baroness Boboni of Sigeleiland. Infanta del Phidiae-Reo.

I beg your of your forgiveness of my dilerium to once believe that a Mod of Vapage could compare to the etherness and mana of the Almighty and Holy Reo. I bare myself upon the mercy of the ProVarinati and its constituents. I pledge allegiance to the Provari and Reo. And to the vapor for which they make. Two mods indestructable, with liberty and justice for all.

Oh, my! Batitude did NOT compare a VMod to a Reo :glare::confused::facepalm: I suppose, we are ALL infallible humans who make mistakes, even the Revered High Father, Batitude. And I applaud his humility and solemn apology to us all.:laugh:

Those posts were from awhile ago. He was appropriately flogged with Kanthal and denied his precious Kona Milkshake. We are considering forgiveness.

I wish I had all the $$$ I spent on devices that were "just as good as a ProVari." They're all gone, but the Provi is still rockin' along. I have joked about selling it to fund the purchase of more Reos, but I don't think I could really bring myself to do it. There are other toppers I still like to use, so it won't get lonely, no matter how many Reos I wind up with - and if they ever decide to make one with a flat top cap, I'll even buy another one.

It was a tough decision for me. I sold off most every other device I had by the time I was down to reos and provari's. Then, there was the woodvil sale last Friday and I bit the bullet and got rid of 2 pro's to fund my woody purchases. I probably wouldn't have if it weren't for the uniqueness of the items available.

I'm not regretting it, BTW - it's just that it was a much more difficult decision than when it was time for the various other regulated tubes and mechs to go.

I traded a ProVari for a Reo Grand. It worked out great for both of us. Of course, I still had another ProVari and he had another Grand. ;)
