Is a Reo as good as a dripper?

Hey Papa_Lazarou check this out got my 18490,s and 18350,s here price is awesome hope there not clones There in Calgary
AW IMR 18490 1100mAh Battery Canada, Calgary ecig electronic cigarette | CoolVape.ca

Yep - DashVapes is where I ordered some from yesterday, but they were 18490's to go with my incoming woody.

I just checked the DV site for 18650's, but they appear to only have flat tops in that size (plus, the max amp is 20 - not bad, but not in the 26-30 range).

No, we're referring to your spelling of "Reoville." We are NOT "Vile" as you put it, lol! Yeah, life sucks without spell check . Provari is cool, too. Well, that's what people tell me.

Yep - nothing wrong with the provari's. They're just not as right as the Reo (IMHO).

If you want to kick it, you should get the larger Grand. It'll take a 18500 to go with it and you'll have to scrape whatever finish you have on the unit off where the kick ground(s) need to make contact.

BUT, I did that and then promptly went back to "native" 18650's and just adjusted the coil for resistance and placement - the RM2 is a ridiculously easy platform to build on.

You can go as low as about 0.7 ohms pretty safely (with 30A batts recommended) on the current Grand, and there is a subohm kit upgrade in the works (should be available later this month). Single or dual coils are possible at that resistance in the RM2, but other atties are available that are more purpose-made for duals (they must be bottom feeding modded - Rob sells an IGO that's ready to go).

I suspect that getting really low with the resistance isn't really your thing, though, since you're curious about the kick option.

Do they compare to dripping? He!!, yeah.

They are, essentially, drippers with bottom feeding. The bottle is onboard. They hit like a mule. They are nigh indestructible and every working piece is replaceable. What's not to love?

I really want a Reo grand as well but I will wait until the sub ohm kit comes built in with them.

What makes it so it can't go sub ohm now? I currently like running dual micro coils at .5 ohms.

Do I have to sell my 2 Provari's to LOL

I still have 3 provaris and a hana v3. Will probably keep them but they are quickly becoming shelf queens.

I expect by the end of next week i will have new packages arrive and the REO's will total 10....lol

Life is simple with my REO's and my wife likes that I have found more time to have conversations........good thing I like her

I still don't know were I,m going to get the AW IMR 18650,s I need for the new Reo Grand I want

Hard to tell. I just know that batts like that usually go for $11-15 (at least in Canada).

The price almost gives the "air" of fake. $9-12 USD or $12-18 CND is what the "going rate" seems to be. Wholesale cost is (can't find info right now, but I've seen it) around $5-7 each (USD).

Also, depending on age of those batteries of yours, the AW sticker has been upgraded to a silver hologram image, as was linked earlier in the thread. That change happened back in the fall. So, new stock certainly should have the updated hologram.

You can run 0.5 on a grand, but you have to clean it more religiously. I'd reckon you ought to stay over 0.6. I say this having been the leading exponent of melting fire buttons.

The bald facts are that 0.4 will make the spring sag and collapse, as well as melting your button.

Those batteries look ok to me - they look like mine - the printing is clear, the red colour is red and not patchy and that is the best i can do from a photo!

Now then, in a few week's time there will be new springs and firing pins fitted to outgoing Reos and available as a DIY kit for the rest of us. If it's as good as i think it is then it will mean 3 things: you don't have to clean your mod so often (bonus for Trunker), the battery will last longer (bonus for everyone) and you can run lower Ω coils than before (bonus for Z and Trunker).

Would the new kit also make it possible to run the Sony vct4 flat tops?
