if you do powdercoat it I'd suggest that you round off all the sharp edges at the top before doing so, will go a long way towards avoiding chips afterwards, the sharp upper edges would chip relatively easy compared to if they were rounded off.

I will definitly keep that in mind. Ill toss it on a lathe and do it right =] because its my baby, it doesnt really leave the house, so everything is going to be done right.
