Hi everyone!

Today I got the Reo grande clone from GB and i'm having some issues with it.
First of, yes I know a clone can have issues and that you're better off getting a genuine mod. But for now, my budget won't allow it and i'm already saving for a nice reo.

Anywho, the problem i'm facing is; juice won't flow through the 510 connection. It seems like something is blocking the airflow way of the tubing but I cant seem to figure out where. When I sqeeuze the bottle, juice won't flow through the tubing and even without any juice in it, even air isn't comming out the 510.

There is this little grub screw in the 510 connection which you can adjust. Not sure for what reason, but it's there. I've taken it out, screwed it all the way in, but nothing seems to fix the issue.

I hope someone here can help me.

Thanks.

Okay, so I got out a knife and cut the tubing so I was able to remove the plate which hides the copper button contact. And much to my surprise, there is NO hole through the 510 AT ALL. What the heck?

Picture for clarification :

Guess I gotta take out the drill and punch a hole. Or any other good methods to do this?

Yeah, that's not it works. You could possibly order a center pin from reosmods.com. They aren't listed on the site, and it is a modified part from the maker, so expect to pay for it plus shipping. You would need to email them for an invoice request.

Don't quote me on this since I don't have one, but I believe the clone's 510 is threaded for right hand threads while the authentic from Reo Mods is reverse thread so that screwing in an atty won't back it out and cause a short.

I meant a center pin from OG connector. This is provided that the clone pin is snugged into a grommet.

...send the mod BACK... don't F w/ it... Contact the company you purchased from and SEND IT BACK.
I realize if it is an off-shore company, this can sound intimidating. dont be intimidated. CONTACT + SEND IT BACK!
There is NO EXCUSE to sell a mod that DOES NOT FUNCTION AS ADVERTISED. Send it BACK, NOW! lol.

If you decide you want to try and fix it yourself ----find a machine shop and walk in and tell them you want a hole drilled......

They should be able to drill a hole and for ---$2.00 and a hand shake--thank you very much sir-----you could get it done while you wait I would think......

Yep.
Seriously, this is the simplest and best answer.

A local machine shop can drill that hole in less time that it takes them to change the bit on the drill press.
Couple dollars, tops.
If the machinist vapes I'll bet he does it for free.

If you don't know where the machine shop is, ask any local mechanic, or ask the auto parts store. They all know a good machine shop.

nice, glad to hear that it worked-out. was easier to just drill it yourself, i guess! I dont have the tools or the know-how, so, it would-of been easier for me to have sent it back. I tried drilling the air-hole of an RDA out once... I broke 2 of my mom's drill bits before she chased me out of the kitchen. lol. I even tried keeping them cool with water... no DICE! lmao. ahh well, glad it worked out for ya!!

Try using VG as cooling next time, instead of water, when drilling. I heard it's way better.

Usually I do sent things back or ask for replacements, if it's defective. But this was a minor thing I didn't want to waste waiting time on. And I wanted to see, as a challenge, if I could do it myself. After all, I want to make my own mod soon, so I can use all the skills I have.

Well I am certainly glad to hear that you are enjoying your Reo clone, as I planned on ordering a couple of them at-some-point in the next year or two... I think a couple Reo clones will round-out my mod collection nicely, then I can focus on GENUINE Reos, after I've got a couple clones & my 1 genuine Reo, to hold me over. I mean, in 2 years time, if I should have 2, or 3, genuine Reo's mods by then, I will be 1 happy vaper... So-long as I've got nicotine in the trunk freezer (we'll see about that) or the ability to order juice online at a normal price-tag... (we'll see about that, as-well...)

Couple of these Reo Clones & I'll be on my way to buying only genuine Reos. :D I can't believe I am finally at a point in my vaping collection where I feel confident that I've got enough devices, and that it's time to just kick-back and buy what I truly love, REOs! haha. That prospect makes me *very* happy. :) Perhaps, I will even own a wooden Reo, one day? Oh brother... (we'll... see... lol)

Now then, HOW are you enjoying your new toy, huh huh huh??? Tell us! Do you own a REO's Mod, or is this your first foray into Reo's mods and/or BF-mods? How are you liking it my man? Is it worth the $25 bucks hahaha? Do you wish that it had the updated Reo Low-Profile drip-well for use w/more RDAs? Do you wish that you could use 22mm RDAs on it w/out issue? & what are you using on-top of it at the moment? Have you got a Reomizer, or a Chalice-Clone, or are you using an A7/A7-mini like me? lol. Inquiring-minds would love to know... How is the build-quality on this one, by the way? Think it's comparable to the genuine authentic, or what? haha sorry for all the Q's.
