Yes, it's another clone thread.
I got a Munstro mod clone yesterday and I cannot for the life of me get any of my atomizers (Tobh, Tugboat, Plume Veil) to sit flush with the 510 cap when the mod is all screwed together and the switch as tight as it will go. I adjusted all my 510 atty pins in as far as I could get them and none of them will sit flush with the top cap. Did I get a crap clone again or is the Munstro only made for attys with tiny 510 threading?
When I fully tighten the atty onto the top cap off the mod I have no problem and can adjust the 510 pin on the top cap just fine, then when I screw the top cap onto the mod with the battery in theres like an 1/8" gap, at first I thought it was just because the Plume Veil has that ridiculous 510 screw/pin but even on my Tobh (which has the shortest 510 connector) with the pin screwed all the way in it's still sticking up. I obviously don't feel safe using the mod this way and it looks terrible.
The top cap on the Munstro clone I've got has a 510 pin which screws up and down and theres also another copper pin that screws into that piece. Thinking that was the problem I took that part out just to see what would happen and the battery is so loose that it won't fire. I did notice that when the 510 pin is snugged to the atty pin the smaller screw is sitting up, and it looks like the threads are too long on the connector. Should I try to cut the threads off the smaller 510 pin so it sits flush and maybe that will help? I just don't want to screw (pun intended) with anything and make it WORSE.
I'll update the thread a little bit later with some pics of the smaller 510 pin sticking out. I just don't know if theres a reason they have the leading edge of the screw butted up against the inside of the 510 connector pin assy, I would think the copper to copper connection would complete the circuit anyway and that this is just a piece of shoddy Chinese cloning.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!
