Both work very well
grand has a 6ml bottle,uses 18650 for3.7 or the nimh 4.8(5v) or stacked 3v for 6v
mini has a 3ml bottle,uses 14500 for 3.7 or stack 2 of the tiny 14250's for 6v(they don't last,only 200mah)
6ml,18650 = all day for most folks
3ml,14500 = at least 1 refill and battery change, probably more battery swaps,It is very small tho,If your into stealth vaping, its easy to hide in your hand

Hi Wood,

Believe you and I purchased the Ali'i at the same, and I’m certain you’ve used you’re fair share of wood glue…lol

I just bought the REO Grand for these reasons:

 Nothing compares to a bottom feeder (imo), just wanted one that would take the bump & grind of the day, and even hit back…lol
 Same batts & atty's that I use with my Ali'i, so easy/cost effective transition
 I like the option to vape at either 3.7V,6V,7.4V, and now I have a 5v NIMH battery (real nice vap at 2.3-3ohms)
 I enjoy many different type atomizers (helps with bulk sales), and different attys do make a difference depending on the e-liquid viscosity.

I was concerned that the REO Grand was going to be too large...to my surprise; it's smaller than the Ali'i.

The only negative would be the additional weight of the aluminum material...but it's so well crafted, I'm over that already.

BTW….please have a look at this vendor, he sells leather holsters for various mods, and I picked up one for the REO Grand…$12 shipping included on one of his sales.

Either way you decide...it's an investment that you will not regret 

I go through about 3-5 mls per day. I find that the 14500s once weak need to be changed.

I prefer the aluminum mods as the are totally mechanical and super easy to fix. No wires or solder.

If a 1000 mah Ego will last me all day, wouldn't a 14500 come close? The one that's coming for my BB is 900 Mah... and you say you go through 3-4 of these dmatrix? :O

How many mLs do you vape a day? like 8...? lol :)

I realize mah ratings are hit or miss... but still.

Wait so the woodvil is not all mechanical ugh I love my wood mods so much I may have to reconsider the wood or aluminum I'm leaning towards a grande just for the 18650 I've never used one because my Ali was vv so I used the aw rca123 or what ever it was stacked but I sold the bats and charger with it to d guy , now tht they are not made anymore I regret this decision , money's tight right now so I don't wanna get a mini an wish I got the grand or vice versa why are decisions so hard

Both are awesome man, I have 2 mini's, a mini wood, and a full size wood. The grand will be nice for the battery options, but I find the 14500 will last most of a day for me with maybe one swap out. I guess what I'm saying is whatever you choose, you'll be happy!

U have too many mods chinned surely you can sell me one lol any one ? Any one? I know there is some one with an extra reo that can save me a few bucks

You are making me feel guilty wood! Lol.
The Grande is stellar.
It's my main travel for work unit. Has taken some pretty good knocks along the way, and vapes like new.
The 18650 batts are great. Got some from RTD. Luckily my flashlight for work runs the same, and doubles as a charger.
Knowing the problems you had with the Ali'i the durability of the Grande would be right up your alley.

Hey dude I'd love to help, but with wood mods especially, you don't really get deals. I pretty much had to pay full for all of mine, and the only reason I got a deal on the other 2 is because I bought both at once. I'm sure you could find a metal reo from the American classifieds for around $130 shipped if you keep an eye out. Sorry I couldn't be more help. :(

I would highly recommend the Grand too. It is the only mod I use while in the car or on the move. I've got an open top cell phone case with belt clip that I use on it, and it's perfect. The 6ml is more than enough to carry me well over a day, and the 18650 does not need to be changed out within the day too. I got my batteries from RTD, along with a little case that carries a spare battery and couple spare atties and juice and I'm set to go for as long as a weekend. No hassle!

I've lost one of the door magnets (no idea when or where) but other than cosmetic, it does not affect the performance of the device.

Best money I've spent on a mod.

I don't mind paying the price for one I was more asking if you would part with one I know they sell for face value shipped when used
