What a beautiful day it is outside. I wish I had a sunroof over my recliner so I could enjoy it.

Okay then, not sure why I quoted that, I thought I had something funny to say but the left over turkey haze stole it.

Good Morning Reonauts!!!

I got Vape Mail today, Just my standard juices a 70mil bottle of Dutch Apple Pie, and a 70 mil bottle of Pumpkin Spice with Vanilla Bean.

When I did wake up this morning, I stumbled to the basement and did all new coils for my RDA and my RM@
Set the RM2 back up to .8 ohms, and it hits like a train now. For some reason better than it did at .5 ohms? Go figure.
I was trying to wrap stovetop coils, but instead, I ended up wrapping some of the best coils I have ever done. In my opinion at least.

And now it's time, and my son won't give me a break to go fishing right now...so out comes the Christmas decorations and tree. He wants me to put the tree up right now and then hang lights on the house outside. His birthday is tomorrow and wants everything up before his party. Wish me luck and I'll see you'll later.

One more post before I go for a few hours.

I've done stovetops before, and I used 24 ga kanthal and found it easier to wrap on my hand made jig. It's really hard to keep the wraps on top of each other when wrapping on a needle or drill bit. Those stovetops burn really hot, they came out to .2 ohms and heated my rm5 so hot after repeated use, the charcoal paint on the AFC ring started chipping off from the heat. I ended up removing the paint and brushing the ring for aesthetic looks.

What I'm currently stuck on is simple ugly coils. I like them, I also like the warm to hot vape as it brings out the flavor on my rm5. My current build is a pair of ugly coils with a total resistance at .28 ohms. Built with 24 ga kanthal wrapped around a Q-tip and 4 wraps on each coil wicked with rayon fibers.

Well, happy after thanksgiving everyone!

I just got on here after a couple of days and I had a PM from the sweet adorable Tory! And she tried to put in a pic of her cuz I've begged her for it so often...

it didn't work missy..was that your gameplan?!:D

I lounged around my cozy home all day yesterday...well in between i managed to put up the tree and some other decorations. Tomorrow it's supposed to be around 50-ish, so I'm gonna tackle the outside. My method is: work for about an hour, rest for two, work some more, take a nap... that's why I start early!

Ugly coils work to!!. I know I have wrapped my fair share.
Fortunately I found a Coil Wrapping Gizmo, and I love it. It takes my 24 gauge wire and builds nice tight coils, Not micro, but they work great for me. And, it takes my 29 gauge wire and forms it just as nicely.
Now that I have done it a couple of times, I do not need to cut the wire off it spool, until I am done with the actual build.

My coils fall into a no-man's land. They are not ugly, but they are spaced a little. They are typically duals of either 24 or 26g kanthal and they are too big to be considered microcoils. I wrap them using a drilbit or screwdriver, but that's just because i have been making coils for so long that i find it easy.

I tried dual parallels with 27g, but my juice clogged them in about 2 days. I like to vape at about 0.3Ω.

I have a Darkzero coil jig for wrapping R41 wire, because that takes a lot of torching and effort to get into shape and i'm pretty sure it was designed to make people bleed! It's tough as old boots, but it lasts ages and i use it in my emergency backup atties.

is everyone out from to much turkey ?:D

I am, I admit it. I think the longest my eyes have been open today was eat lunch and go to the bathroom.
I woke up this morning had a cup of coffee, and took a nap.
Woke up later, had another cup, and took a nap.
Woke up. Recycled coffee and ate lunch. Then took a nap.
I have been awake an hour now, so I guess this is the longest I have been up. My bad.
Although with my second morning cup of coffee I did recoil all my atomizers this morning!! SO today was not totally wasted.
I had to recoil everything, I tried to melt my Vulcan yesterday. Sat it in the holder with out the fire button locked. Came back about 10 to fifteen minutes later to the smell of pumpkin spice. Fortunately the 2 mil basin probably saved it and the battery.
Had to clean the Vulcan today, changing wicks last night did not get the scorched taste out of it. Fortunately a close examination of the O rings they look good.
Battery checked out too. Thinking I saved it by stripping my panzer down to its smallest parts to get it to cool faster may have had something to do with it.
