Omgggggg It's gorgeous!!!!!!!!!

((((((((((((Karen)))))))))))))))

We don't have very good light in here.....and not much sunlight to speak of.........but wow!!!!!! Y'all are so right that pics do NOT even begin to do these justice!!!!

Jet, there is another box that may have the atty I ordered in it.........but no the ones that are being sent are coming from Australia so they'll take awhile to get here. Still can't believe he's doing that.
Hopefully only 1 week. But sometimes 2

I hope she had a coil built for her rba. And I hope she has a meter to read the ohms!

she didn't have one built already, cuz I wanted to use the rods for marquis clone to build it on...... using a hana clone for the read the ohms. Got everything washed up, soaked in vinegar, washed again (rba) Got a coil built (not easy in da dark I tell ya) lol Came out a lil higher than I planned, bout 2.6 but that was ok. Put it on vw made sure no shorts...... everything fired...... filled up juice bottle..... put da battery in..... (no I did not collapse the spring from a short) but sumpthin aint right. Taint firing. I had lowered the W on the vw down to 7. sumpthin to where it fired about 4.2 v like a fresh batt would, so I could see how long it would take to fire the coil......and it wasn't long, worked great on the VW. But it's just not firing on the Reo. The onliest thing I can think of is.... I may have smushed down the pin on the reo. When I first tried to put the top cap on....it wasn't going on......and I think I may have mashed too hard. Does this sound likely??? At this point it's too dark in this room to see to do anything about it..... and sil is napping in the bedroom where there is more light, so can't go in there, but my brain needs a bit of a rest anyhow.

I did tell her she should order a spring right away. I always worry that a new Reonaut might have a short in the learning process.

lol well at least I didn't do that.............. yet lol and hopefully won't.

What gauge wire are you using? Wire gauge will help determine ohms, how many wraps and heat up time.

Maybe try some 28 or 29 gauge wire, if your shooting for 1+ ohm coil maybe try like 10/11 wraps of 28 around a 1/16th bit. I usually sub ohm and shoot for around .5 ohms, which is usually 5/6 wraps of 28g around 1/16 or 5/64, whichever floats my boat.

newp.......it's a marquis clone. Admittedly my coils still kinda stink right now.... was shooting for about 1.8 came out about 2.6  I don't have good tools and was trying to do it in too dark a room. but it fired fine on the hana clone when I knocked the watts down to where the Volts were firing at 4.2 about 7. little bit watts. I can try to get a lower ohm one tomorrow when I can see better. just don't understand if it was firing on one at .......ohhhhhhhh yanno what.....maybe cuz even a fresh batt wasn't coming near 4.2 under load???

If it's not firing at all - then make sure your atty is at least making contact with your Reo. You will at least hear it hiss or see the coil glow, if you take the topcap off.

It will take a second to heat up is all. [The heat up by Thursday was a joke!] But still 2.6 IS on the high side.

Before all the sub-ohm stuff - cartos were rated low, medium and high resistance - and high was about 2.4Ω

y'all haven't met the goober/hoople side of me yet.......Hi I'm Deb the ding dong still luv me??? Anyone ever been kicked outta reoville for being too much of a hoople???? (there's always a first)

So you still went with the Marquis? Like I mentioned before, that is probably the worst RDA for a beginner... I am sure with the helpful people around here, you will get it built to what you need. I would tend to agree with Trunker, in that it might not be making a connection in your 510 connection...

yeah. Not that I wasn't considering what y'all were saying. But I felt like I kinda had to get it since CH had kinda gone outta his way with patience for me. Plus, I know that I can learn to build on it. Yeah an RM2 would likely have been easier, but I knew I could get a build done on it. Will be easier once I get a coil jig, so they aren't so wonky. But I did get a coild built and on there, and it was firing, and I can learn to do it better. I knew it would be easier later to get an RM2 if the marquis clone didn't work, but harder later to get the clone.

That center pin isn't gonna move, just insert the Allen key in the center and adjust it maybe a quarter turn to the right(clockwise). It should of came with a small black Allen key in the plastic bag with the spare bottle and noalox.
