I hope she had a coil built for her rba. And I hope she has a meter to read the ohms!
she didn't have one built already, cuz I wanted to use the rods for marquis clone to build it on...... using a hana clone for the read the ohms. Got everything washed up, soaked in vinegar, washed again (
rba) Got a coil built (not easy in da dark I tell ya) lol Came out a lil higher than I planned, bout 2.6 but that was ok. Put it on vw made sure no shorts...... everything fired...... filled up
juice bottle..... put da battery in..... (no I did not collapse the spring from a short) but sumpthin aint right. Taint firing. I had lowered the W on the vw down to 7. sumpthin to where it fired about 4.2 v like a fresh batt would, so I could see how long it would take to fire the coil......and it wasn't long, worked great on the VW. But it's just not firing on the Reo. The onliest thing I can think of is.... I may have smushed down the pin on the reo. When I first tried to put the top cap on....it wasn't going on......and I think I may have mashed too hard. Does this sound likely??? At this point it's too dark in this room to see to do anything about it..... and sil is napping in the bedroom where there is more light, so can't go in there, but my brain needs a bit of a rest anyhow.
I did tell her she should order a spring right away. I always worry that a new Reonaut might have a short in the learning process.
