Oh, where do I start?
Lets see:
1) I do not carry more than two gauges of wire
2) had nothing better to do
3) it was easy
4) because it is mine and I can
5) the wire was there and it talked to me
6) etc, etc, etc,

My favorite answer to everything. bahahahahahaha Shows what I know. I didn't even notice. I was to busy trying to figure out if I was putting mine on right. My coil is not so much over the hole. I don't know if I am doing it right but it works fine and I'm happy so what the hell. It's mine and I can.

Good Morning REOVille. So far I'm batting 2 for seven in the Holiday Sale Department. As in, two packages received, five more lost somewhere in the Black Hole known as the US Postal Service. Maybe if Ben Franklin got hit by lightning a second time he would have invented a better system ?

Have a Safe and Blessed Sunday :)

Coil rebuild day for the RM2 on the REO Grand.
RM@ @ .6ohms. 29gauge twisted wire wrap.

I've tried that and for some reason, twisted is just too much metal. It seems like it takes a lot longer to heat up than single 26. It might be the way I twisted the wire, I don't know. I've tried both 28 and 29 twisted. I get the ohms I want, just slow on the fire up.

Good morning Brett. I hear you on the USPS. They have slowed down undoubtedly by the increase of stuff for the holidays. My latest 2 day priority packages have taken an extra day to get to me, at least.

Morning REOville

Another Sunday means more football. Hope its a winning day for all aspects of your life!

Good morning, Gil. Enjoy the football. I don't know if I'll get a chance to watch anything or not. Have a great day!

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was alright. I got some stuff done and even got to give a couple of my Reos and attys a much needed bath! It's amazing how my vape improves with cleaned coils and new wicks! :) Not to mention not having to stick a dirty atty drip tip into my mouth! :) Have a great day all!

Far be it from me to criticise your coils Lucky, since i am one of the leading exponents of 'ugly but works' [a slogan for my life really]builds.

But as Paul said - that's a lot of metal to heat up. I used to make parallel 32g coils something like this:

Those hit 1Ω on the nose.

Good morning everyone, or whoever shows up later...

I woke up excited cuz today's Sun. and I get to watch WD tonite...then I realized the last eppie for this run was last week....

I tried my hand(s) at making RxW wicks yesterday and did better than my previous attempts a few months ago.I made the coils first and then inserted the RxW. Just a bit ago i made a double-over wick and free-handed the torched wire around it...I don't think I'll be doing that again with my clumsy fingers. I've yet to try it as it's soaking in juice right now. The RxW sure is hard, at least for me, to initially get and keep it soaked or at least wet enough to vape...but I like not having to change the wicks every day and sometimes more cuz I've burned em up! I've tried dripping juice on it first, firing and then more juice. I've tried juicing it about three times and then letting it set for a few minutes...it seems to me that with so much juice on it, it should last more than a few hits:)But at least, when I forget to squonk I don't have to make another wick!

Oh well, I'm sure I'm missing a pertinant step even tho I spent hours in the last few days reading the RxW thread!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying a Sunday.

Make and fit the coil first - then screw the wick into the coil.

;)

T..that's how the other four are made. I guess I forgot to mention that....it just seems as tho, with such substantial wick and the fact that it holds so much juice as compared to other mediums, that I should get a little more vaping time..maybe I suck on it too hard or long...

braindead: corrected my previous post...
