I've tried that and for some reason, twisted is just too much metal. It seems like it takes a lot longer to heat up than single 26. It might be the way I twisted the wire, I don't know. I've tried both 28 and 29 twisted. I get the ohms I want, just slow on the fire up.

This heats up nice and fast. Definitely faster than my 24 gauge wire.

All my single coil attys get twisted 28. I like the vapor density twisted gives me.

No argument there.
My first time using twisted at the same ohms as the single wire coils, and doing micro coils to boot.
I have been doing macro coils to get more vapor, but hey with 200 feet of wire (100 of 30g and 100 of 24g) I was not worried about having enough if it did not work.

After all this reading about coils. . . looks like I might have to "get twisted". bahahahahahahahahaha Who am I kidding?? By the time I get around to trying it, there will probably a new and approved coil. I am a professional procrastinator. But a happy one!

Good afternoon hugs to everyone that wants them.

What magical properties does the new 510 have? In all the time i have abused used Reos, i have only managed to break one 510 connector and that was as a result of it hitting the floor with a big atty on top at a rather unfortunate angle. It still worked, just the atty then wobbled!

No gaskets. ok. so?

I have the bad habit of screwing up the Teflon thingies with my atties. I have my eye on 2 reos still but I thought why not get them with the latest and greatest. If by Christmas there is no hint of the new 510, I will definitely order ones before end of year :D

I've been gone a while and completely missed the whole new 510 connector discussion. Anyone know if it's going to be set up so if you wanted to you could send it to Rob to be retrofitted? Or do it yourself? Though I agree with SuperTrunker, I've not had any problems with mine. However, I don't use a standard setup.

I use the o-rings from the 6ml bottles between the atty and the connector instead of the ones provided with the RM2s. I've got two Reo's and on both I had to crank the atty base (Cyclone and RM2) pretty tight to compress the o-ring enough to get electrical contact through the 510 connector. As a result, I don't take my attys off. I build my coils while on the Reo and go over it carefully with a decent meter.

The plus side: no leaking between atty and Reo. You're not constantly threading and unthreading the 510 connector when rebuilding coils. Down side: you could over tighten while doing it the first time and mess things up. Also, I leave the atty on there once done. Therefore I don't swap attys in and out. But I'm perfectly happy with my Cyclone and RM2 so that doesn't bother me. I'm a simple man. And I really like the absence of leaks which I'd been getting on 3 different Reos, same two attys.

Point is, I'm happy to leave things as they are. It works. It works as good as a different 510 would, in my opinion, because I don't mess with that 510 connection at all anymore. Just need to be careful when building coils but I have no problems building on either of my attys. Just check it thoroughly after you're done for shorts or whatnot before firing it up.

Good evening folks (at least those on EST)

Hope your weekend has been relaxing, if not then I hope you get a good break soon. Mine has been a good mix. Playing and listening to music, sleeping and playing. Going through the first two seasons of Walking Dead. Could I ask for more? Yeah, I want my son back. But, living in the now where that's not possible I'm still having a good time.

Man, accepting life on life's terms can be so hard. If you fight it. Roll with it, bend like a reed in the wind, and enjoy all that there is in your life, at this very moment, is the way to go in my book.

For all those that struggle with this or that: Life is what it is. Accept it or fight it, your choice. Much less painful to not punch that brick wall that won't budge and accept it's a brick wall.

Thanks for reading, sometimes talking out your feelings is what is needed......

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the conditions that surround him... The unreasonable man adapts surrounding conditions to himself... All progress depends on the unreasonable man."

The trick is knowing if you're up against a brick wall or not. Too many people push forward when they have no chance from that particular approach. And they suffer for it. Sometimes it's as easy as walking around that wall. And don't think for a second that I've accepted any form of fate. I will get my son back. Just might be in a different way than most people would think of :)

None of that was meant as an attack and there is truth on both sides. The key is accomplishing what you want with the least amount of pain.

Sorry to quote myself. I forgot to say that "what you want" should benefit all. And some things just are. Accept it or fight without end. If you fight without end you'll miss a lot.

Further, consider Gandhi or MLK. Prime examples of extreme reasonableness with wonderful results.

Legally, the guy with the most money seems to win. And that's a lawyer.

i cannot be the only person here that thinks choking citizens to death is an unacceptable way to carry on.

Oh, and in other news this week: 'so what juice do you normally vape? because we pride ourselves on our juices and i'd be glad to throw a free bottle in with your order"
"not bothered - fruits or tobaccos"

HRH: that is not a tobacco - it's blehhh

I have never coughed so much since i stopped smoking
Tomorrow i will suggest they call the juice 'hyperventilation'

Hey T, I know what you are saying. And understand why. And know I have similar thoughts. So what is the answer? Corporations->Government->us. What do you think I'm fighting right now. The "think of the children" mentality. I've been investigated twice by Family Services. Unfounded each time. All it takes is for someone to call in BS allegations and of course they have to act on it. Had the police called on me as well. "wellfare check" There was nothing. I have the reports. So believe me, I know what injustice is. Still, I will take the path where I can still look in the mirror and be ok with myself while I sort this out.

And: Kindest of Regards!

Good evening my fine feathered..er..quilled friends!

Fleet, so you've joined the ranks of WD! You're in for a treat!

BTW... I think I might have to lower my nic content! These RxW wicks are kicking my ....! I've been drinking jugs of water the last two days. But the flavor I'm experiencing is amazing. Long ago I started out with 36 strength, the highest allowed, then when I finally found Reoville and atties, I went down to 24.But with this wick and the RM2's, at least for me, it has to be lower to the deck and, for me, it's hard to juice up that way.But NO PROBLEM, I'm delighted to cut down on the nic!I make my own juices so I'll just add a little more VG to the bottles I already have made.

Kay, I am still in my WD infancy. I've only seen 2 shows of season 1 on Netflix. The second was better than the first. I need to get busy if I'm ever gonna be up-to-day with most everyone here. I'm a late bloomer.

I have to say after watching the very first episode I wasn't sure about it. But I gave it a while to develop. Besides, I'm in it for the action anyway :)
