Very cool Fleet... Love them home made jobs...

Thank you. I appreciate the kind words, greatly. Posting here is my first step in getting over stage fright :) as I rarely share my music. I'm gonna be buskering this summer. Not looking to make anything. Just want to play in public.

How could you miss the 1st post in the Reo forum??? Welcome AngiBe... When are you gonna change that avi and put a pic of those Reo's in it?

I guess I missed it bcoz it's under stickies and I don't look "up there" very often. And I know, I need to change my avi one of these days bcoz my REO very rarely leaves my hands.

Stick around, you'll have a good time. They even let misfits in as evidenced by the very fact that I'm posting this to you now :) I won't talk about the rest but I don't think I'm alone. And non-misfits are welcome as well! Win Win!

Thanks!!

Ha, thats funny... I remember the first time I played live. Words of advice would be to not eat anything at least 3-4hrs before you start. Stage fright really only lasts for 1 song usually at most. Or at least until the crowd acknowledges you. I thought you were doing a monthly jam thing around your parts. I went to one of the ones we have here last month for the first time in a year. Everyone wondered where I'd went to. They all thought I moved back to California. Next one will be next weekend and I'm looking forward to it. Had quite the cheering section this last time around... I love to play out live.

I looked at it "a few" times also, it is so awesome looking!! But my ocd would drive me nuts with fingerprints!

All this talk about weather around the country. For those of you in New York, how bad is it right now?

My daughter and her sons are going to New York City for vacation Friday and plan on being there for a week. Should I be worried?

The worst of it is over! We got another 6" of snow here in CT. on Sunday night.
Sleet, rain, snow tonight
Heat wave coming tomorrow up to 35 degrees thru to the weekend.

I am still doing the jam thing. The skill level of the group isn't that high with the exception of the person who leads it. There's not much jamming. Weather the past couple of months has kept me from going as I can't afford to slip on ice carrying gear.

2-3 years ago I was going to my lessons. It was 40F out. What that meant was that the 3 stair granite steps looked wet but were coated underneath like teflon with ice. I was carrying my 1957 Fender Duo-Sonic, in the original case. Down I went riding three stairs to the ground. Didn't hurt my gear but I still hurt to this day. So, if it's icy out I tend not to go places if I have to carry stuff.

Perhaps about her judgement goin up into all dat mess and cold!! Seriously though, hope they have a very safe and fun trip.

Anyway, if anyone wants to take a listen here's a link: https://soundcloud.com/black6host/fleet-lonesomefugitive

Note: I am not a professional. Still, I had a good time and wanted to share a piece of me, with all of you.

That was great!! And good on ya for trying to get over stage fright. I love to sing, but mostly when I'm alone. I used to lead the praise and worship at church, but don't get to go much anymore. Took me a long time to be able to do that, cuz I get super nervous singing in front of anyone. Sometimes I do pretty good, sometimes not so much.

That Polished then Anodized door is stunning! Just like the first few Grands and Mini's that Robert did. Love it!

totally agree that is gorgeous!
