Just got my new REO a couple of minutes ago. I wasn't sure I was going to like the super-light build but boy does it look and feel good.

And really nothing to say about the performance. Its a REO... of course it performs flawlessly.

Of course, that is a given. Congrats to you. I have been looking at the SL/LP ones with heart wide open. You do know that we expect pics, right?

I have to agree with the others. I have only used the rm2 but it is awesome and so easy to build. You just can't go wrong with it. Welcome to the lounge. Please come back and have some fun with us. We don't bite. (not 100% sure about SuperTrunker) JK I think bahahahaha

I also love the RM2. I had a couple of different brands, but I sold them in order to get more RM2's, the post holes aren't scrunched together which makes placing coil/wicks so easy!

WELCOME to REOVILLE! The coffee here is outstanding:laugh:

Good evening all!

I went to my monthly acoustic jam session last night (second time I've been there.) Being as how I don't do well with strangers it's a scarey thing for me. Had a blast though, and I knew I would. Sometimes we just have to push forward through fear Anyone familiar with the book "Dune" will know what to do with fear :)

Actually played about 4 songs (everyone is in a circle and we go around it giving everyone a chance and then go again and again until all are done doing what they wanted to do.) A new person showed up with an electric guitar and amplifier. That would have been ok but he kept playing over other people. Not even the same song. No regard for what the group was doing. That part was frustrating but I talked to the group leader and she put a stop to it so it all worked out.

So, in the end, it was a great night! Next goal is open mic in a bar playing the blues on my Tele. I'll make it happen.

Hope everyone has a great evening! And Sunday as well. :)

I miss my guitar. vaping took away all my other interests :(

Interesting. I found vaping made it easier to practice and play. Don't have to worry about one burning in the ashtray. Don't have to sit in the one spot in my apartment that had an exhaust fan. Just kind of freed me up.

Is your guitar gone? If so that would be a shame. If it is you can always find another. I don't know what kind you play but I've been following a lot of manufacturers and they all seem to have a sweet spot where you can get decent quality for not a lot of money. You just need to know what models to look for....

Nope it is not gone. I have 3 that are currently collecting dust. 1 fender semi acoustic. 1 classical. And 1 heavy metal bc rich guitar. I used to play from slow rock, to heavy speed metal. A bit of jazz blues stuff when I'm in the mood. The problem with family and a toddler running around you don't get much time. When I have some free time I dedicate it to coiling, cleaning my vape gear, or spending it on the forum.

But I'm sure if I organize myself more I would be able to get back to it :)

I hear ya! I have the luxury of a lot of time to play. My friend who I play together with, does not. 3 kids FT job. Hands are full so I understand. Still, I do believe you are right that with judicious time management you could get back into it. It's just how bad do you want it. :)
