Sorry to hear this. Did you tell them how inconvenient the timing was? Don't know what the plans were but family helps ya through anything. Your family here on ecf cares also. Just thought I'd let ya know. I've missed you lately and wondered where you were.

Ya' know it never ceases to amaze me how others in control of peoples lives always seem.....ah it's as if they get joy out of screwing with peoples lives....and always around the Holidays.....

I don't know what you do, and perhaps this is normal each year for you in your line of work, but I just hate it when others get shafted by "da man" around the Holidays...

Years ago I worked for a company that it never failed, every year, I mean EVERY YEAR those %$*@%( :censored::censored::censored: would ALWAYS can people right after the Christmas luncheon!

I worked for them like 17 years, and when I left I gave them all the courtesy they gave all those they let go like that!

SEE YA!

Funny...they went bankrupt!

Well we're not much. but we are here for ya'!

I work for the local municipality. And yes this is normal. It still sucks tho. From here I'm about a year and a half from full time unless someone else leaves first.

Good Morning REOVille. Good to see Darrel and Rick stop by. Bumped into Jim on another thread yesterday, he's just as pleasant in the general Forum as he is here. Nice to know there is no façade there, Trunker is the real deal. I'm sure HRH is already aware of this....;)

Have a Safe and Blessed Sunday :nun:

Which is not saying much!

Besides, once you're set with a reliable vape, it's easy to meander all over the forum causing trouble helping people with wisdom and kindness!

Hey Reoville, I have a few questions about my new Reo and thought this may be the place to ask, please forgive my Newbness if it isn't. :)

I will preface this by adding I have a Woodvil 18650 with a RM2 I acquired from a B&M owner who had too many toys to give her the proper love she deserves. I do not believe there has been any maintenance done to her.

1. I have the older silver contacts and would like to do a little maintenance, would you recommend using Noalox or Deoxit Gold on the positive contact? Or is the Deoxit Gold for the gold contacts only? Are they both available at Home Depot or Rocky's?

2. I seem to have a problem over-tightening the RM2 top(?) to the deck, I put a little O ring on the threads but did it again. This isn't my problem though, in order to loosen it I counter twisted two wrenches and scratched the brass on the atty. It's driving me nuts to look at now. Is there a way to buff out the scratches?

3. This one I know is subjective but I'll ask anyway. Do you have more success wicking the RM2 with Organic Cotton (KGD) or Cellucotton? Curious if anyone had experienced a noticeable difference between the two.

Thank you in advance- Meagan

Well there was one thread i posted on which has now been moved to 'not advisable', and what really gripped me was that he was English! I suspect the land of my birth now only exists in the mothballs of my memories.

Pity.

T

Yeah, the doofus with the laptop battery pack batteries. Not knowing his stuff is one thing. Not appreciating the feedback he asked for is another.

I've worked with and known a fair few Brits in my time (we're a commonwealth nation for one, and my former job took me to the UK 4-8 times a year) - all over the shop floor in terms of common sense and attitude, but all had a wicked sense of humour (and spell it correctly).

Hey Megan..Welcome to Reoville..Yeah 'um hon..use Noalox please..Just a dab on a Q Tip for the contact and spring. You shouldn't be tightening your atty with a wrench..lol
Sorry..really tho..Megan those things have an O Ring for a purpose. Hand tighten it to just when it fires then put the air hole where ya want it. I put mine to the left facing door..well because I don't want hot juice on my chinny chin chin. :D

All is good hon..ask away..More knowlegable people in here that I for sure.
