Good morning, Reoville! This morning looks like it's a lot better. 45 degrees and clear. Yesterday, it took me quite awhile to get the heavy frost off of my truck windows before I could see enough to drive to work! I also don't do cold weather that well, or really hot weather either! I'm OK if it would stay between 60-80, or 16-25C for our overseas contingent. :) Hope everyone has a happy, safe and warm day!

It makes my bones ache reading about all your temperatures except for Doffy and Bruce! It gets cold enough here for me in Texas. In fact, a cold front is coming tonight and it's supposed to get into the 30s which will make me want to hibernate like a bear.

I am so with you on this Paul, every winter since we moved to Texas I end up yelling at no one in the yard "it's wrong to get this cold HERE!!!" I look like a fool but whatever!

First,,, I thought all Texans were crazy!

Second, didn't Texas have a brutal winter last year? I seem to remember stories of being snow bound because the municipalities did not have snow removal equipment.

Just something for you to look forward to

I'm on the SE coast so we didn't get snow but they sure did in other spots. I don't believe Houston has snow removal equipment but it melts so fast it doesn't matter. I don't know about the rest of the state, I don't recall hearing that.

We just want everyone to think we're crazy to keep them out!

Yes, it did snow last year. Of course, the amount of snow we had wouldn't have caused anyone to look twice in Minnesota, but Houston was gridlocked. Schools and all county and city services except fire and police shut down. We here in the southern part of Texas freak out when we see anything resembling white on the ground.
