As a band player myself the music of the era rocked my world, so being able to experience the best bands of the era in the most exhilarating places of the era made The Summer of Love '67 in Monterey/Big Sur & San Francisco the most life changing experiences of my life. It is still vivid and will never be forgotten. A tidbit... about 4 years later when I was discharged from the military my wife (a SF socialite - married 1/69) and I made Carmel on the Monterey Peninsula our home.
Pearl performing at the festival... not as flamboyant as many of her performances, but her soul is unmistakable.
