Good Morning REOVille. Overslept, now I'm behind before I even get started.....

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

hehehe yur the only somebody I know who can post at 1 am and say he overslept! Be safe and always blessed!

did you get your reo vaping Deb ?

Jup, pretty much. It was like peng (I think said) needed a full turn. I did 1/4 then 1/2, the 3/4 nearly gave up, but thought well, one more time, and did the full turn while peng was typing and that got it firing. Just got nervous bout doin stuff.....didn't wanna mega hoople it the first night!! Still need to do a better build on it. Gotta get some aw imr's but for now gotta see what the lowest build is that I can do on these pannies, that according to baditude are 10A So gonna do that in a bit then when the sun (hopefully) comes up/out get a better build on it.

i like tasmanian beer. i think it is the cold climate. the locals may have 3 heads, but they make good beer

and kiwi red wine, merlot particularly

deb if you get that attie going, your cyclones will be a walk in the park after that

The only beer I could even come close to drinking was Fosters, and I really don't even like it. Can't even stand the smell of the rest of em. Tasted a dark one one time but it still tasted like beer. lol Wasn't a guiness but don't know what it was. Not a big wine drinker but have heard some of those Aussie wines are really good. Especially merlot like you said.

I do think I'll end up liking those build rods on the marquis clone, just need to get better batts to do a more flavorful, more th build. For me the hardest part is holding the coil while trying to wrap/capture and this does that part for me. Really looking forward to trying the ones you're sending and ((((((Doffy)))) thank you so much!

(((((rattytat))))))))))) don't like snow even when it's purdy. Wouldn't be so bad if they could make warm snow. lol But glad you got to see it fall.

lol slots....jup I kept em occupied!! Wahoooooo on yur TRA......is that #3??

Morning Debadoo! My REO is on it's way back to me already....they received it Saturday and tracking says it left yesterday! Woohooooo I miss double fisting! :)

Tracey

Dang that was quick!! Glad you'll soon have it back! Quick service = less anxiety over sending the other one in. (think you said that was next, but don't remember for sure).

Sumpthin I reckin I never told y'all.......and I better now since I'm getting into more the technical side of Reos rather than just being the welcome wagon lady........... this will help understanding why sometimes I'll seem like a total goober, and forget stuff a lot. Quite a number of years ago, I had an accident and kinda jiggled my brain, so sometimes it don't work too good. (insert pnut gallery comments here) lol Mostly I'm ok.......some days I call fuzzy days, nothing makes sense. Mostly I just forget a lot! If forgetting were an Olympic sport I'd be a multiple Platinum medalist!!! lol I could just about break the speed of sound on how quick I can forget sometimes. So.....if I ask things over and over, or forget something about you (sometimes really important stuff) that's why. Also, if it's a super fuzzy day and you explain things in super simple terms....and I still look at ya like  please just understand that at that point I may not be real clued in on up/down and left/right lol Not a biggie really........just wanted y'all to know that just cuz ya just told me sumpthin yesterday, doesn't mean I got it today. lol

Yup! Sending in #2 when this one gets back. #2 needs the entire upgrade on the 510, #1 was just getting her new 510 tweaked :). You do great Debadoo! You call me by name every morning when you say good morning. :) (my name being my forum name makes it easier lol). So glad you are here welcoming us each day! :)

Really glad you got your Reo working Debadoo! Now comes the fun part, finding that sweet build that puts you in vaping nirvana :)

I have the BF Marquis on my mech TRA. I run dual coils on it. Do you know when you will be able to get some better batteries?

Hopefully pretty soon. My son will help me get some stuff.......just trying to pin him down. He's a restaurant manager so long hours and is right now trying to buy his first house! so uber busy. But aw 1600 and an extra spring are top priority for me right now, so probably in the next couple days. I'm thinking I'll end up wanting dual coils too. Which is one reason I want to DIY! lol But for now, single higher ohm with the pannies til I get the aw's.

I do need to ask.....I need a lot of throat hit. I've always used stock coils of course, the 1.8 bvc naughty does pretty good. With the Reo, I'm thinking I'll want dual to end up low 1.? ish coils. So I'd probably be better off with the aw imr 1600? Don't know if I'll like going sub ohm or not, have never done that but might like to try it, and pretty sure I need the 1600 for that. I don't mind charging batts, so would there be any reason I'm not thinking of why a higher mah would be better? Hard to decide, when I'm not sure what my sweet spot will end up being

The AW IMR 1600, are rated at 24 amps and the AW IMR 2200 at 20 amps. The 2200 will last longer but still has enough amps to let you go down in ohms.

I run a 1.02 on my AW IMR 1600 with no problem. I have gone down to .85 but found I really needed to keep the contact covered in Noalox and file the contact. Now, that was with the old contacts. You do NOT file the new gold contacts!!!!! People running lower than 1.0 find they need to apply Noalox or Deoxit Gold on the contact and the top of the battery to prevent sparking. I don't like to mess with all that so I stay above 1.0!

I feel you will do fine with the AW IMR, either one. A lot of your throat hit comes from coil location in regards to the airhole. Also the size of the airhole. It takes a little practice to move your coil into the right position for your vape. Once you know it is super easy to build and place your coil.

Both the AW IMR, the 1600 and the 2200 are rated at 20 amps. So you won't sacrifice amps for mah. The only difference is the 2200 will last longer.

Thanks!!! I was thinking the 1600 were 24 amp but good to know I can do either.
