All this talk of 2mm and 3mm can only mean you are using RxW or ReadyWick.

I use the 3mm all the time in my cloud-chaser atties and it keeps up fine and it lasts and lasts. I normally recoil after 2 weeks, but just blowtorch and re-use the wick. After about 3 months of this the wick too is about ruined and gets replaced - so i throw out 2 inches of wick per 3 months! :)

This is the 3mm.

Thanks T. I'm assuming that you're running dual coils in your cloud chasers? I'm using a horizontal coil, 1/16" I.D. How much would you recommend I leave hanging out of the coil? Right now it's about a bit less than 3mm on each side. The wick does not touch the deck.

Any sage advice I know you are most capable of giving? :)

Edit: yes, I'm using the RxW 2mm stuff from RBA. And can you tell me what size bit or mandrel your building the coil on?

Good morning, REOvil!
I'm still alive.
Sorry for the absence just got focused on attempting to learn my camera and went back to work last week. This is just going to be a drive by. I'm exhausted and about to do all the crap normal people have to do on their day off....laundry, housekeeping, paying bills, brushing dogs.

Did I read that Alice is back? If so, Hi, Alice!!

All my stuff is now dual coils. the 2mm RxW, i make a coil on a 2mm screwdriver.

The 3mm i make on a 7/64" drill bit.

i slant all my coils and make sure the RxW touches the deck is all.

This is the 3mm, but it gives you a rough idea. I use as little wick as possible, because i'm using a bottom fed mod - fresh juice every time etc.

JEN ! ! ! You have truly been missed ! ! ! I don't care if it's an occasional drive-by. After 2 and /2 million miles, everything I've ever done is a 'Drive By' :D

Ya know, the best part of a Woodvil Run might not even be the woods themselves (easy, Karen) but seeing so many familiar Reonauts return home.

On Hangouts it is possible to do a LIVE chat. It will also show on YouTube. It will be recorded and saved in the account on YouTube where it was broadcast. I was checking into that yesterday. We did just fine with the chatting! I loved it! But would really love to have one recorded and saved too! Here is what they say:
Live streaming

Schedule broadcasts and go live in HD on Google+, YouTube, and your website. It will be recorded and automatically saved on your YouTube channel.

I'm all in for that karen!Just think, if someone feels kinda down n out they can go watch the Chats!

Ummm...would everyone need to give permission to put it on youtube?

There IS some nefarious characters here:D

Woo Hoo I finally found a small freezer within my budget that fits in our very small laundry/mud room without being in the way. I had 26 inches to work with and the beastie is 24 in wide makes a good spot to set the basket when I empty the dryer since it's about 3 ft tall. It has room for my nic stash and some overflow from the kitchen freezer.
