When I was much, much younger, I wanted to be a judge to help make the world a better place. Until I found out that it wasn't as simple as that. If only it were.

If only people didn't lie. I've always understood the defensive lie of a kid that's afraid of being punished. That, at least, makes some sense. It's not good. But, it does make sense, to a kid.

What I could never understand was malicious lies. Ok. That's enough. I'd better stop before I get myself all worked up.

Well, I'm not out of the woods yet. Final hearing is not until the beginning of June. My boy is 6. I didn't see him or talk to him on his last birthday, thanksgiving, christmas or new years. I wasn't allowed to contact him and my MIL refused to let him call me. Sad. She's so into her own gain that the welfare of my son is not her concern. He gets a substantial benefit from my disability. I think she just wants the money.

Well, I get to see my son for the first time in over 6 months this Friday. Supervised visitation at a county center. I'll sure be glad to see him but there's no need to be supervised. There is a light at the end of this tunnel though, and my attorney has been very good in working with me. He knows they're trying to railroad me. It's personal now, for him. He's also a cop and a prosecutor so if there were something up with me he'd know it. And justice is a big thing for him. I'm glad he's on my side.

Regarding my experiment yesterday of mixing my juice 50/50 with PG. Nope, didn't like it. The reduction in nic didn't bother me, in fact I vaped only 1 ml in 24 hours. Just didn't like the diluted taste.

I just want to pop in and clarify about recording the video chats.

On Hangouts they list a "Live" video chat option.

It is not the regular video chat that has been done.

It is a open chat where anyone can see and post. Not just invited people. It is broadcast on YouTube. The chat is then saved on YouTube.

If the link to a chat is posted on this thread then from what I have seen anyone could pop in. So anyone that sees it can join.

With all things that travel across the internet we need to realize when we can be seen and heard. And also who can see us.

The video chats that we have done on Hangouts to my knowledge were not recorded. I tried to find some of the chats to see if I could see anything. I do not find anything saved but the link will show a chat room. You don't have to start a new chat. All you have to do is go to a link and join.

I will not do a "LIVE" chat without CLEARLY stating what it is and the fact that it WILL be recorded. At the present time I am not planning a LIVE video chat.

I just need to add (because this has been an issue lately elsewhere on the forum) that ECF won't allow recorded chat sessions that involve subject matter or language of a foul nature to be posted. So as a reminder, if you're going to post videos of chat sessions, etc...be sure to keep it clean as per ECF ToS.

On to lighter things.... It's great to see some of the ol' timers pop in. Welcome back everyone!

Sorry for being gone so much. There's SOOOO much to do here...if I'm not working at the desk, I'm outside workin the dirt....and rocks....and trees....and, and, and.... well, you get the picture. The upside is that I'm losing weight and trimming up nicely. Teagan is keeping us busy as well with her NJROTC Unarmed Drill Team practice at 0600 every day (they made it to Regionals which is this weekend) and track practice every night for 2.5 hours. I'll post some new pictures later of life here on Colony Mt (seriously...it's just a hill).

I had a great time with the group chat the other night....wish I could do it more. I'm sure I'll pop in from time to time to say hello. In the meantime, I return you to your regularly scheduled bull session. Miss you all! (Darrel.......just wanted you to know been thinking of you.)

kewl! I'm guessin N stands for Navy? My son was in Army JROTC (years ago he's 30 now) and was commander of the male armed drill team, as well as some other teams. Used to love going to the meets. They did regionals a few times too. That's wonderful that she is in that and doing so well. He ended up getting a full 4 year ROTC scholarship, but couldn't take it due to some health problems that didn't get resolved in time. But spent 8 years in the reserves. Wish he'd have gone active and retired, but he was done with it.

Whatchya buyin Fleet?? If I aint bein too nosy. got my lil tube of deoxit gold in today, so that's kewl. And a milk frother, but man that thing is a piece of junk. ya gotta remove screws to put the battery in, when I did the back popped off, pieces fell off.....I finally got it together and it works, but ya gotta try to hold it all together while ya get the screws back in.....building an atty is easier!! lol Will definitely be reviewing this thing! At least I shouldn't have to change batteries for awhile.
