that was a great pic! I think a lot of things are more user friendly now, and some that aren't... I think will be soon. Hope you'll get to liking it better.

Just heard back from the admins re: the sig banners failing. It's official, the new forum uses extensive caching and they have no way to disable it. The dynamic sig banner is dead on ECF, may as well put something else in there now.
which ones are dynamic? The ones with counters? oh I hope it's not that.
Yep, the ones that keep track of how long it's been since you smoked.
Those banners work by pulling a newly-generated image with updated numbers every time the banner is supposed to show on a page, and since the forum caches the image (saves it on the server and displays that instead of the original image) at the time you set your signature, the numbers will never advance beyond where they were when it got saved by ECF.
I think this will be a bigger deal than they expect it to be. A lot of people draw strength from watching their sig's numbers.

By any chance are you using FireFox? If so, copy/paste won't work since FireFox tries to encode it as Base64, and exceeds whatever file size is set. I still don't have a definite answer on what our max settings are but most images will be auto re-sized to fit. Linking should work with no problems.

I did notice i had to move my avatar over, so that's what prompted me to ask. It's easier to just crop pictures to a known size than post and hope!

You will during NFL season! If I had a Rattlers banner put together, you'd be seeing that right now.
That explains why there's no longer a 'forum actions' tab that used to house 'generate sig banner'.
I like my Reo banner, but not so much i'll manually update the bloody thing daily. HRH will be gutted, because she sees that total saved as a budget

Ok, well, no more counter is the first thing I'm really bummed about, but........ oh well. I still have my friends!! and.........I got back the ability to post by hitting tab then enter!! Love that, cuz I really missed it
