I don't heat the wire prior to wrapping around the silica -- what's the purpose for doing so?

Thanks. :)

Just to burn my fingers.

JK. It doesn't burn. I do it cause juicejunky told me to and it worked. I didn't question my master. Since I'm not your master, it's ok to question me :)

I learned that heating (or annealing) softens the wire and removes the anti corrosion oils from the wire.

Corrosive oils? If I'm firing it up prior to juicing it up, I shouldn't have to worry about oils...correct?!

Don't you get bossy, Mr. Lucas -- I'll ask as many questions as I want. hahahahaha

Oils applied to most metal products to inhibit corrosion :) - the opposite of corrosive oils. They just wouldn't taste good I bet :)

You got no worries if you dry burn a little before you wick and vape :)

I don't heat mine before building either. *shrug* Works for me - I use 32g or 30g, 30g preferred. I always fire it on the atty and pinch with tweezers a couple times and make any other adjustments I may need. I believe the preheating makes the thicker wire easier to wrap.

Supe, love that intro! Really! :toast: More great vids and so nice of you to take the time to do this. :)

Oh sure another video after I learned how to do all this. What a puke! You know I love ya Russ, keep them coming this is seriously some of the best Reo videos I've seen. With videos like this the world will soon be known as Reoville. (Reoville does sound better than Earth) Russ, Jules, and Rob world wide domination can't be far behind.
