...might be called because apparently I'm a klutz. Never has any device I own fallen victim to more fumbles than my VV Grand. The latest is yesterday it slipped out of my hand, flew across the kitchen floor and under the washer. Had to have a rescue operation. It's a good thing they're built so well.

What kind of abuse have you dished out? LOL

Sounds like you could use a REO cover! They make the REO less apt to slip out of your hand. Also protect the finish if it does fall.

Most of my REO falls are in the car. Sometimes they dislodge from the area where they are standing and end up on the floor. I have had the door come off and battery come out. Now that I use covers they are a little more stable and stay together.

Westamyx: I didn't think you could submerge the VV grand?? I knew you could the mini.

Alice has been very lucky. She drops or knocks her VV Grands in the water by accident.

She has been able to use them after the dunking by doing the alcohol soak and then letting them air dry for a couple days.

Do NOT try putting your VV REO'S under water!

The Grand and Mini's can be submerged and cleaned.

Boy, that juice is looking mighty tasty....may burn off a few nose hairs at first but I'm willing to try :D.

Just 1 major fall for me, landed on the A7 atty, no scars but the A7 looked like the Leaning Tower of Pisa after the fall and wouldn't unscrew from the RG. Took pliers to it and got it straight again before being able to remove it. So glad the threads weren't damaged :)

My RG has hit the floor more times than my boxer-shorts. My workplace has all-concrete floors - i have yet to be lucky enough to drop it in the carpeted office. All the corners are dinged, but it's all metal and so are the atomisers and the drip tips. It always works.

I have had to send it for repair on two occasions - when i had put a battery in it that was (18650s are all the same right? !!) too long and melted the pin and once when (you just wash it and it always works - right? !!) i had no idea what to do to keep it in good condition.

There's every chance it will outlast me!

I might regret asking, but what kind of job do you have where your boxers hit the floor? :)
