Just a thought and probably wil never do it, but I am curious. Can a Reo be used as just a mech mod and run say a Subtank Mini. I thought I read somewhere that it could.
It can be as the Reo Grand is one of the most versatile box mods around, just know what you are doing as far as battery safely before you sub-ohm on any mech mod
Yep. No problem...
There are a couple different historical versions with differing recommended minimum resistance, but at .5, you'd be fine with any of them.
You would need an "LP" reo - flatter top so the "catch cup" originally designed for cartos and such doesn't get in the way of threading the tank on.
A Reo is a mech mod. As far as a Subtank mini, you would need a LP model (low profile) to accommodate the tank's width. Also, the whole point of a Reo is that it's bottom fed and a Subtank isn't. You could use it for the power alone, but it's kind of a waste.
