I've been a ProVari guy for awhile. I love my ProVari with a Kayfun on top. It's an unbelievable combination. Just on a whim, after going back and forth between another ProVari (would be the 4th one) and a Semovar...I decided to try the Reo Grand with the Reomizer2. I'm not a huge fan of dripping, mainly because I miss a lot...resulting in dry hits and a wet leg. But I do it, I like building coils, I like experimenting with different coils/ wicks etc... I like my mechs...A Nemmy with a Nimbus and a Nemmy with a Trident V2. I'm not a sub ohmer guy, .8 to 1.2 ohms is where I generally stay on my Kayfuns, Genny's and drippers. I don't like dual coils very much...I keep trying but I prefer single coils. I have a .8 ohm dual in my Nimbus that works really good but it's a juice hog and just a touch too hot for me.

My Reo arrived today and after cleaning everything, had it up and running in about 10 minutes. This thing is awesome! Great taste, easy build, awesome vapor. I just love it! I wasn't sure I'd like a box, but it's really well built, well designed and seems really durable. I can see why these have such a devout group of followers, much like ProVari. It won't replace my ProVari but it will certainly get it's fair share of use. I would've never even considered a Reo had it not been for ECF. Thanks!

A REO is on my list of future purchases.

It was on my list for a while. I'm so glad I pushed it up to the top. It's far better than I expected and not very expensive for the quality. It's so cool that I haven't even opened the box containing another Kayfun that arrived today too! Good Vapemail day!

Asbestos great choice, my box mods that were very "Reo"ish(now discontinued but much the same) were and still are in my mind the best vaping choice for me.When I find one with a non wood in vw my credit card will be burning coin and bringing me joy.
PS-vw only cause I got lazy, they are king in my book, congrats.
PS2- wood doesnt last forever in my swamp area.

The RM2 is a ridiculously easy build. I had it up and running in less than 10 like you...

I bought a VMOD bottom feeder back in August and used nothing else since - it started me on the path of researching bottom feeders. So then I got my REO two weeks back and now my VMOD has been pushed down the vape chain.

Now it's pretty much the only thing I vape. I'm still getting used to the blind squonk and sometimes I get a dry hit every now and then, but apart from this user error on my part, I have to say the REO and the RM2 are simply a great vape. Whip out the cotton week every day or so, rethread a new one in there - less than a minute and you are good to go again.

Congratulations on your REO, I know I really enjoy mine.

I predict the more you use that Reo the more your Provari tube will start to collect dust.

Congrats on the Reo, man. If you run into any snags you are in more than capable hands down in Reoville.

I don't know...I like tubes, I LOVE ProVari and I love Kayfuns for all day everyday use. Everything else I have is mainly hobby/tinker stuff. With thr Reo, it's nice to have something to switch to that performs as well as my favorite set ups. It'll get tons of use, I think, but I doubt I'll ever need to wipe dust off the ProVari's!

I just can't get past the little squeeze bottle. It just seems like a decidedly inelegant design. I know, I know, if it works well it shouldn't make a difference. I'm sure I'm just being silly.

I see it quite the opposite. Its elegance is its simplicity - there is close to nothing that can go wrong.

I still prefer the hit of my KFL+s, when they're set up correctly. But I have to rewick every 4 - 8 ml, and they can leak or suffer dry hits.

My Reo / RM2 is set up with stainless, and the maintenance is almost literally zero. I fill up the bottle, and I change the battery. I might rinse the coil every few weeks or so. Every few months I'll give everything a wash, replace the coil / wick, and put some Noalox on the leaf spring.

You squeeze the bottle, the juice comes out - that's it. Great flavour, no hassle, problems or guesswork...

Yeah, I can see that. I know it has a functional elegance. I guess it's more a matter of materials. I don't like that it uses a cheap little plastic juice bottle as part of the system. It's not really a deal breaker and who knows, I might end up with a Reo someday.

Welcome to REOville!!!!

We have the launch of a new REOnaut It's party time!!!!!!

SOme people find them inelegant I on the other hand find the utter simplicity and clean lines of a REO to be as elegant as it gets. It is sort of the difference between Old and New Money. New money needs to flaunt it. Old money is understated and classy. ;)

Seriously though the REO + RM2 just works and is as simple as it gets.

Throw a kick 2 in it with a 18490-18500 battery! 5-15 watts regulated.

The early prototypes used glass, but didn't work as well for some reason...

;)

That was funny! Choked on a good vape! One of the things that drew me to it was the simplicity. I actually like the little plastic bottle. If i lose it, I'm out 65 cents and there's nothing to break. It is really exceeding my expectations but I can see I'm going to have to lower my nic again. It really hits with a 1.2 ohm coil. I really can't find anything I don't like about it...best of both worlds.
