Reomizer 2 Question

Hi All,
Took my reomizer2 apart for cleaning and noticed what seems to be rust on the post screw threads and the head.
Anyone else experienced this with their RM2
I only use custards in the atty, nothing citiric...
Only used it for about three bottles before cleaning....

I haven't encountered this before. And I use RM2's over 90% of the time for several years now. Did you buy this from the website ? or from the classifieds ?
I would try about a 5- 7 minute soak in 91% Isopropanol, followed by a 5- 7 soak in boiling water. I vape a lot of NET's and sweets, and my post/ screws/ ceramic decks will turn dark after awhile. This method of cleaning seems to clean it up, then I wipe everything with a cotton swab. Seems to work for me. Maybe the color you're seeing is just early build up from the custard you vape.

Yes i got the atty from rob.
I clean all my atties in a ultrasonic with 50% water to white vinegar.
Never had issues like that evwn with clones

I typically soak my addies in denture tabs, overnight.
This rust did appear on mine also. I suspect it may be the screws.
No longer leave it soaking for long.

I pulled an rm2 out the other day for the first time in months and the screws were rusty, I think the deck was a bit rusty too but I vaped it anyway

Rust on metal post screws is a common thing for atomizers.
