Reos Grand versus my other mods

Well I wanted to wait for the honeymoon period to end, even though it's only been a few days my findings are decided.

I've been A/Bing the Grand with my other mods like crazy.

this is what I have and use regularly, I have two Saber touch 5V mods and I use 3ohm premade cartos with..but for the last few months they haven't got a lot of use for several reasons, so they won't be in my comparison.


so, In no particular order...I have a Richman hybrid (genesis)... a Sentinel with a Omega or a Helios addy (my main mod)...

and a Panzer and a Atomic addy (this is a bomb of a mod)... and of course my new Reos Grand...

the Richman is a awesome hybrid and works very well. I use SS 400 mesh and 5 coil wraps of 28 gauge that gets me to 1 to 1 1/2 ohms.

both the Sentinel and the Panzer get 28 gauge with 4 wraps giving me .8 ohms and I use cotton yarn for my wick.
and last but not least is the Grand with the same coil as my drippers.

first to get the hybrid out of the way first, this mod has the best flavor of any thing I have ever used, hands down. the vape is mostly good, even very good, but its finicky. doesn't take much to change how its working. I have always had a love/hate relationship with
Gennie style addy's.

next up is my pinoy mods, I so much love both. looks and feel is off the charts. and they both preform outstanding. I don't mind dripping but the draw back is having to carry juice and having to drip ever 4 or 5 hits. plus the addy's have larger air holes and doesn't take much to have juice leaking thru. they have great vape, thick and huge even with single coils and not using super low ohms.
there flavor is good but nothing like the hybrid.

so before I got my Grand I would take one Pinoy mod and the hybrid with me. hybrid was used when I'm driving and the dripper used at work etc.

Now what you all have been waiting for... the Grand, wow, this mod has it all. nice looking, vapes really well, so well sometimes it is on par with my drippers. (almost) Flavor, yes it gives me real good flavor just under what the hybrid delivers. best of all its so easy to carry, never have any juice on it. and after the juice bottle is installed no unscrewing for battery changes, no adjustments to have the body tight, what a joy. best over all is I am not carrying two mods. great when driving, great at work, great at home, great to carry.

Do I need to say anything else? Who knows what the future will be, but it is conceivable going with reos mods only.

i carry two mods one being a REO but the other is a tube mod and is specific to one function.......BLOWING CLOUDS.....HAHA......i keep a .3 ohm coil on my tube mod just to have some fun when i get bored....but my REO is my all day vape device and does my good day in and day out......i got a .6 ohm coil on it with twisted 28g wire and cotton.

Hi marsos52, the flavor is adjustable by using different wicks and coils. It just takes time to find what is best for you.

when i first got my reo grand/rm2 combo i thought it was really good, but not good enough to bench my tube/dripper combos. After a few days of use you become spoiled with how easy it is to set up and use. Now it is all i use, and i have no interest in all the "new" mods coming out.

Agreed, in some specific aspects a Reo might not be the top dog, but is always very close. As a total package nothing beats a Reo.

I just bought my 2nd Reo. A blk/white mini.
BUT.
I also just today bought a Sigeli #1 and a RSST and some mesh.
I just want to see what it's like, and have never used wire mesh or an RBA tank.

I expect to play with it for a while and learn something, but it will be a cold day in hell I suspect, before my Reo (s) are not my go-to.

Prior to these purchases, my daily set-up (in the car mostly)

Reo Grand with usually one or another 6mg Heather's Heavenly Vapes tobacco juices.
A Vision 1300mah spinner with my personal 9mg menthol/green apple blend in a Vivi Nova
A Vision 1300mah spinner with 6mg unflavored in a Vivi Nova.

When my Mini comes, it will likely replace the Menthol Vivi Nova.

When my RSST mod comes, it MIGHT replace the Unflavored Vivi Nova.

In the end I suspect I'll end up with three Reos doing the rotation, but for now.. that's how I'm rolling.

Try making a ss mesh wick & coil for your grand as it will covert it to a pumpable genny. Just be sure you oxidize the wick well & the coil doesn't have any shorts before applying power. You will get the flavor of the richman & the convenience of the grand.
I have started using a piece of used wick out of my AC9 that came out of the tank & it worked great. Anyway a great use for used genny wick.
