It has been suggested that we start a thread for Reonauts who watch The Walking Dead, so I decided to start one.

Obviously this thread will contain potential spoilers, so if you haven't watched the most recent episode, or the series at all, you may want to avoid this thread.

What would we need to do to keep vaping on our Reos in the zombie apocalypse? Obviously the Reos would hold up, but we'd need solar power or something to keep our batteries charged. DIY juice would be essential, we could probably stockpile a base liquid, but flavors would be hard to come by.

Now, onto the latest developments. I didn't like what Carol did, though she did it for the right reasons she should have taken her suggestion to the council. In turn, I don't like what Rick did in response, again, he should have taken it to the council. I'm really curious to see how this plays out once everyone is back at the prison. What will Rick tell them?

Note: Anybody is welcome on this thread, it's not just for fans of the Reo. :D

Just popping in to say a big THANK YOU! for starting this thread.

I don't "do" cable and only watch the episodes that are available on Netflix. So I am behind. They just put up the last season so I am caught up till then. I totally understand people wanting to share their thoughts on the running episodes. But I really don't want to know everything before I can see it myself.

This thread is great, and I hope lots of people find it and share right here!

Now, I am outta here!

I'd probably quit or go back to stinkies. Lung cancer would be the last thing I would have to worry about.

anyone else read the comics in addition to watching the show?

If vaping weren't an option, I doubt I would smoke, though, as you said lung cancer would be the least of my worries, with walkers chasing me. ;)

Im a little behind, missed the last one. I will catch up next week tho! A couple tobacco plants and some natural extract knowldge might come in handy. The batteries on the reo are going to be the week point im thinking....

Yes, the batteries would be the weak point for sure, since they don't last forever. We would probably have to learn how to make them.

Yep thats what we all said when we started...I wonder about one of those hand crank radio or flash lights modified to fit on a reo? To tell you the truth i have enough nic and kanthal horded up to last a year or so lol

And the zombie apocalypse can't last forever, can it? CAN IT!?

;)

At the height of my smoking, I wasn't even smoking two packs a week, usually less than a pack. I actually vape more than I ever smoked.

Forever is relative to how long you stay alive...:) You know food and ammo would be the major needs, but creature comforts might keep you sane. Much like keeping a social group and a small form of government. Wont do you much good to survive the zombies if you go crazy in the process(we have seen it happen more than once)

Indeed, survival is more than just basic essentials. Vaping would be nice, but it would be pretty far down on my list. I'd place music above it.

Seems like solar would be the way to go :) I belong to a SHTF forum and they always recommend Solar power. But then what about the battery lifespan?

Zombies would be the least of my worries if i can't have my Reo

We'd probably have to learn how to make batteries. I'm sure Rob will be a survivor, so he can help us. His pack of porcupines will spirit him to safety. :D
