I don't pay attention to the juice makers. Just leave a map to their compound. Thanks for the supplies. I've always maintained that it will be easier and more fun to loot after the fact rather than prep beforehand.

:p

I can leave the map with the nic under the stairs. I can't tell you where the bow or the guns will be since I doubt they will be put away after I take out as many targets as possible, and then myself of course. So I apologize in advance for the mess. The water heater is new, so the water left in it will be good as well, 50 gallons or so (depending on when the municipal water stops flowing and how long I last).

Honestly, I'd probably be spending the zombie apocalypse trying to protect my wife. She has vision, spacial, and mobility issues, and would be a sitting duck for a walker. Though I imagine the hiking sticks she uses when we go trail walking would skewer some zombie heads rather nicely.

Well, after she turns she won't have those issues. Have you discussed with her the alternatives? Kind of like a living will should the zombie apocalypse happen. "Honey, would you like to shoot yourself in the head, have me shoot you in the head, or would you prefer to become a zombie?" This may be important for you to know should the time come to take action. She may want you to leave her like Jim, outside against a tree so you could save yourself, or she may want to opt out in order for you to save yourself. Or you may like to do as the couple at the farm where Rick got the horse and opt out together.

You may want to read this as well: CDC - Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response: Zombies

And yes, DH and I are on the "Zombie Task Force" and even have the T shirts :D
Unfortunately, they no longer offer them: Zombie Task Force | CDC Foundation

Had no idea the CDC had that page. How cool! :D

I am kind of a fan of the show and have been for years in case you haven't picked that up yet

It's funny because I don't like other shows with zombies, but since this isn't about zombies and rather is about the Walking Dead (which refers to the still living) I like it for the character development and writing. I got the zombie virus real bad, and found the site a while ago when they still had the T shirts :D

I've been watching since day one. I do like zombie movies, but never thought a show could be good, because you need good characters and character development for a good show. The Walking Dead has that in loads. :D

Agree x 100

Zombie scenarios are just a fun catalyst for telling a story. How well the story is crafted and told makes it worthy. Plus there's a certain twisted appeal to the end of human civilization without mass destruction caused by war, alien invasion, etc.

I've seen some zombie movies that were heavy on ghouls, gore, and action, but were horrible in that you didn't care if the survivors actually survived. Zombie Hunter with Danny Trejo is a perfect example. That movie sucked.

Do you do any of the ancillary stuff? I do the trivia, the sync, the twitter feeds, and the Woodbury series books too. I already gifted the 1st one, but promised Dave the 2nd and 3rd. I follow the Talking Dead, and get the AMC emails with all the interviews and inside stuff (as much as they give us anyway). I keep an eye out on all the new casting, so I know what characters are coming in and what they look like so when they are introduced I know exactly who they are and if they were in the comics what their role is. If I was able to work I wouldn't be as avid a fan, but when you can't really do much it passes the time. There is a lot of stuff out to keep up on during the season :D

I really like the trivia. I only missed one on the new ones, and that was "Terminus" because I couldn't understand what was on the radio even after replaying it several times. DH couldn't figure it either, so I was glad that was a trivia question or I never would have known where they were headed next. If you do the trivia from all the past ones, it gives you a lot of stuff you might have forgotten or never picked up.

Poor DH, I will be talking about something and quoting it (and can often quote with the name of the episode), and he will just look at me like I am insane. I must have watched the entire marathon at least 3 times already, and each new episode gets watched at least twice the night they come out (because I sync the first one and may miss something) and again before the new one comes on. I have every single episode on DVR both at the house and the condo.

I suppose I could have more expensive hobbies, you know - like vaping before I found the REO?

I watch Talking Dead, and have played The Walking Dead, by Telltale Games. It has great characters, voice acting, and a great story, but I found the controls frustrating, so I ended up watching a Let's Play of the additional content. in hindsight, I wish I had just watched a Let's Play of the main game, like this one:

I've ready a tiny bit of the first book, but didn't get very far. I decided to wait until the TV series is finished, even though I know it deviates from the books a lot. I haven't done any of the other ancillary stuff.

That is cool! There was a game on facebook, I played a few minutes but same as you, it just wasn't that great.

I will have to watch the rest of the one above, I got about 10 minutes in :)

I really enjoyed it. Great voice acting!

Im with you....the story of the game is waaay better than trying to miss with the crappy controls.

So, what would juices would the various characters vape? I think Daryl would vape crab juice, because he could take it! ;)

Now that just made me laugh and think of the scene at the prison when they had just taken the field and Daryl and Carol are flirting on top of the overturned bus and he says, "I'll go down first" and she says "even better" :p

He likes regular shorties, remember the scene from when he and Martinez do the show off stuff while the Governor is meeting Rick and they find a pack on a zombie? If I remember correctly, he carried a zippo? So I would put him with a "burly" tobacco ;)

Yeah he and Bob were smoking while they were working on the car in the most recent episode. You are probably right. I'm picking a nice aromatic tobacco for Hershel, I could see him enjoying a pipe from time to time.

Could be. Yeah, I could definitely see Merl with a pack of Kools. ;)

I think you got Merle and Hershel spot on guys!

I think maybe Glenn would go for something sweet. He was a big gamer and delivered pizzas, so he probably snacked a lot to keep his energy up.
