I was hoping Michonne would have arranged for some one-on-one time with the Governor before ending him. He had it coming and I think it would be theraputic for her, in a twisted sort of way.

Yeah, me too, but stopping him when she did was rather important. And having just seen Hershel killed, would have made just about anybody kill him.

Governor rears back a fist to punch Rick in da face... *swoosh* ... his fist tumbles to the ground and he draws back a bloody stump for a wrist. He twirls around to face Michonne and reflexively raises his other arm in a defensive gesture... *swoosh* ... other hand tumbles to the ground. Oh yeah... she could have gotten medieval on his ....

All I know is that I'm becoming one of the walking dead. I almost never get sick, so when I do, it wipes me out. I have sick time at work, but am in a position where no one, no one at all, can cover for me, so I can't use it. Ugh. I'll try not to kill and eat you guys if I turn. ;)

Thanks for eating me last

SPOILER ALERT: IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ALL 3 WOODBURY BOOKS AND PLAN TO, YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO READ THIS YET:
You should see what Brian does to her in the books. It is very, very bad. He beats and rapes her senseless, tied up off the floor and naked leaving her like that for a week. They can't show that in TV though, so they did the very tame Maggie scene instead. While Michonne in the TV series is ...... off over Andrea, in the books she is ...... off at the pain and degradation he put her through.

Michonne needed to be the one to put him down. And it was just fine with her if he suffered a while with a mortal wound and let him be eaten by zombies or turn, she didn't have to see him actually die since she knew the job was done even worse than if she actually had killed him quickly.

The governor replies, "It's just a flesh wound! It's just a flesh wound!!!!" So she pulls a Hershel on his leg, leaving him hopping on one leg, bleeding out....

I just read a SPOILER....

TV Guide I think was quoted as saying that Carol is supposed to come back. Speculation is that Lizzie is the psycho I thought she was, and the head shot to Alisha goes to prove there is more to her than an innocent little girl which will come out and allow Carol to rejoin the group. I think that would be a perfect outcome and is what I was hoping for. I sure hope whoever leaked it is right!

and this is the scoop:

When and how she shows up remains a mystery

I love reading all of your theories. The episode was a real jaw dropper for me. Both one of the saddest and most exciting TV episodes I've seen in a long time. And quite masterfully they've left us hanging at the edge of our seats both satisfied with some outcomes and yet lost with new mysteries this show definitely goes down as one if not my all time favorite TV shows.

Yeah, I hope Judith is ok, and it certainly is possible that she is, but boy they really made it look like she's dead.

Michonne saved her from an approaching zombie and ran inside the prison with her to take the back exit? She sure went somewhere when Rick went off to search out Carl. It could happen, she still has a back story to tell about her reaction to holding the baby.

Or she is still with the girls? Or Ty picked her up? So many options for her to survive, I hope the writers were having a good day and saved her

I hope you are feeling better health wise. Mentally, I am right there with ya! They are doing another marathon New Years ;)

I feel a touch better and no longer look like a zombie myself so that's a plus lol. I'll be home for new years spending time with the new addition to the family. so I'll actually get to watch it.
