read a lot in threads and such bout vaping leaves no residue on walls
just finished repainting the walls cause the started whitening. I usually vape with windows open but recently started hotboxing just for the heck of it. I noticed whitening before I was hotboxing but it was not big enough to cause concern but after a couple of months of hot boxing the room looked like it was smeared by a snowman try to claw his way out of my room
,any thoughts?

I would be more inclined to believe the whitening was caused by humidity being let in from keeping the windows open all the time. I have been vaping for 5 years and I work from home. So all day I sit in my office and vape and blow vapor all over my monitor. When I am in the living room, I blow my vapor up through a lamp shade (b/c it looks kind of cool) or on the wall next to me. Again this has been for 5 years. I just now inspected all 3 locations and there is ZERO residue of any kind. So my thought is it either has to be humidity or whatever you are vaping ISN'T ejuice.

If you are in a closed up room vaping or even just breathing, then you are creating a Humid Environment. You need to circulate some fresh air in the space. open the door and open a window occasionally to let it dry out and you may want to invest in a de- humidifier.

I'm not sure...I live in the Philippines it's pretty humid here but I've haven't had this problem before. Now I just vape outside

Ecig vapor is mostly water. Given normally high Philippine humidity you may have pushed the humidity over 100% at which point it started condensing on the walls.

Not going to go through this thread and edit every occurrence of the word hotboxing, but I trust we'll no longer see any references to it from this point forward.

Why we don't allow drug talk

    And

    Forum Rules

I don't think he was talking about anything illicit. I am pretty sure he was referring to the act of taking long hard, and quickly repeated drags of his vaporizer. You know like hotboxing a regular cigarette when you only have 3 min left on your break and you really want to finish it before returning to work. Usually resulting in making the filter hot and often even collapsing it. If it means something else then color me clueless.
