After watching the video, I am going to order one of these for my older mini. In the video Rob says to put a drop of glue at the top of the tube, and I was wondering if the glue is included in the kit. If not, what type of glue do I need to get?

I've never used glue when replacing tubes, and haven't had any leaking problems. 
Robert uses super glue. But it is not a requirement. Works fine just slipped on the tubing.
I just rebuild a Mini and I didn't use any glue....and the tube never slips off. It's really tight when it slips on, so I didn't bother with glue. I think he uses superglue when he does them. I'd rather have it unglued in case I want to just pop it off.
In Rob's case, if the tube slips off, others blame him. In your case, you'll only be able to blame yourself. But I agree you're probably okay without it, especially knowing to take care if trying to pull the bottle cap down.

yes first they toss themselves in the dirt and then they commence to blame me because they yanked the tube out . I can tell you it takes some force to pull one out when there glued in
