Repairing Silicon Wrap

I've got a Sig 30 with a silicon wrap, which is good because without it the mod is really slippery. It's starting to tear down one corner.

Is there any kind of glue that will hold silicon together?

Alternatively, does anyone sell new ones?

Hmmm... Google-Fu didn't show anything. You could try using some gasket-in-a-tube type silicone substance. It comes in a variety of colors. You might find one that comes close to your wrap. Put a piece of wax paper inside the wrap to protect your mod and fill the hole with that. Remove the wrap after it cures and peel the wax paper off from the inside. Might work. I would test the wax paper against the liquid gasket first to make sure it doesn't leech through.

Don't see the point in trying to fix one, just go on fasttech I'm sure you can probably pickup a pack of 5 silicon sleeves for cheaper than the price of 1 you'll find locally.

Even purchased locally the price of a tube of glue that may or may not work will cost more than a sleeve.
I doubt that anything will work well on it anyway.

Tho I haven't delved into the very expensive technique of swimbaits (some baits have been known to go for upwards of a thousand dollars) the friends of mine that do throw them swear by it!!

Just can't see throwing a bait into the depths for that price with a great possibility that I might loose it at any given moment!!

I thought vape gear was expensive, some of the high end rods, reels and baits in bass fishing make it very difficult to have two hobbies such as these!!

if its real silicone, very little will bond to it... might want to try some silicone "caulk" or "Shoe-Goo"... another product that has some awesome hold power is "Lexel" acrylic "caulk" ( crystal clear and impossible to get off of just about everything)

Thanks everyone who replied, this is why I love ECF. I'll try some of the glue suggestions on the old one and report back. I fix stuff for a living so I can pick up any kind of glue.
