Replace Coils

How do you remove the perforated metal sleeve on an iClear 30S to access the coils/wicks? Are these rebuildable?

Here is a link for new coils, Atomizer Head for Innokin iClear 30S 'Type S'

The bottom ring unscrews and then you can take out the coil to change it. The coil us now the whole center section. Looks like a carto now.

I don't think these are "rebuildable" ... at least not easily. I have not seen anything on rebuilding them yet. Maybe someone with more info will see this thread and chime in.

Thanks. Yes, my question was regarding the actual wick/coil assembly. I was trying to remove the perforated metal cover from the coil assembly to replace the coils/wicks with DIY material. Two pair of pliers will not do it. Maybe they have found a way to eliminate DIY replacement.

So far no one has been rebuilding these. The sleeve gets damaged if you try to take it off

Even on the old ones that didn't have the metal sleeve, nobody seems to be rebuilding them. The conclusion I think is it simply isn't worth the effort - you'd need to faff around with attaching nonresistant wire, and it's an awkward build anyway if you're going for both coils (and if you aren't, there are probably more suitable tanks to focus your effort on).
