Hi,

I was vaping on my new smok sid today and dropped it. Of course it has to fall on the drip tip because that's life :D

Now I am getting the "low load" message with any topper. I am now back to my already dying lavatube but looking around for a replacement control unit which I could not find online yet.

Does anyone know where to get a black SID control unit from?

Have you checked the center pin? If it's pushed in this can cause the low load message. Try using a small screwdriver to wiggle the post up a bit. There are some video showing how to replace the rubber insulator with a Danco #60 O-ring.

Here are a couple of links. They are for the Vamo but it should apply to any similar MOD and probably an ego type as well. I picked up a 10 pack just in case. I have a Vamo, SID and SVD

If it crushed the insulator for the 510 positive post, the attached link is for the replacements. I have some of them and they look just like what the manufacturers use.
