Azure is nicotiana rustica (aztec tobacco, mapacho), so its not a type of tabacum typically used in cigarettes and cigars, its a completely different species. As far as the leaf itself, rustica can contain up to 9% nicotine where the typical tabacum species contain only 1-2%, making it a potent, strong tobacco. I havent been bold enough to try the azure yet, even the tabacum-based TA can leave a heavy feeling like I smoked too many cigars, but thats exactly why I like it. It gives just enough of a real-cig sort of feel, and I probably overuse it in too many mixes, but I sure would miss it if it wasnt there.
