replacement screws for the siam mods carto punch, where are these?

Hello , I know I cant be the only one out there that has this punch. I have used it a LOT, it is a great punch, especially like how it has that sort built in part that aligns with the edge of your carto, no guessing.

Needless to say I have worn the screws tip and Im getting bad punches. I tried to sharpen it with sand paper, I used a dremmel, it worked also but cant get an even point.

I found only one place that sells them but they almost cost as much as the hole unit. Do they sell screws like that at hardware store and how do I measure the size?

I measured the space between the hole on the punch and I measured the screw. I really bad at math and even worse with mm etc. I took a ruler and on the mm side. So each mm has 10 segments(?) the screw is 3 of them. SO if I went to hardware store or online store what size would that be?

the 10 segments are mm, the numbered ones are centimeters.
it's 30mm long.

i'd just bring the punch with me to a hardware store (with the screw) and look for a nearly identical screw..

I was waiting to see what would happen when the screws dull on these, and the suppliers don't offer replacement screws.

If you have to start over, this one has easily replaceable screws.

I think this one will work. I think difference between v2 and v3 is just the screw. It's harder and has wing attached, same thread. You might check with Bruce first to make sure.

I contacted Siam mods and they said anyone that sells them should have replacement screws, because they have them and they ship them along with the carto punch. I guess im just lazy especially with the heat these days. I have contemplated going to my local hardware store, but I put it off. I was hoping to find them online and ordering a bag full.

I will check out the COV, it looks like a nice durable screw, and I like the little handle. I did find a mirror screw and it get a bit hard for me to turn it, and If I use a screw driver it gets a bit difficult and I have hand and wrist problems. Thank you all and I will keep this updated, as Im sure I cant be the only one punching cartos like a nut to keep up with my vaping habit.

I really hope you find something. It sounds like you are really going thru the cartos. Have you given thought to a carto tank or thinning your juice?

I vape unflavored, 70/30, and when the Boges where good I could easily get a month out of a carto, especially in a tank. Just hate to see someone spending all that carto money...

Have you tried a little oil on that screw?

Just got that replacement screw, but its to thick. My punch is really messing up my cartos I think . The holes seem too wide or too deep now. I just got a new batch of boge cartos and they dont seem to be performing well, dont know if the holes the punch is making is pinching them too much, cause Im getting such a tight draw, like trying to drink a scoop of icecream with a stir straw from a coffee house. I went ahead and ordered the over priced aluminum punch from VIP Aluminium Cartomizer Punch V4 - Cartomizers/Tanks - Accessories, its similar to clouds of vapors but it uses the screw that I just got, I guess now I will be able to punch cartos for years with these awesome screws made of stainless and cobalt hardend steel.
