Hello all I've been analog free for a year now an I just recently bought a siam mod carto punch after using saddle valves for about a month, so here's the problem it seems no matter how big or small I punch the holes (I normally use 3) the drag is stiff, unlike with my saddle valve where it is very loose. I make sure the holes are fully exposed but still the stiff drag, anyone have any advice on how to fix this? Thanks

I am new to this too .. but from what I figured .. don't bottom out what ever you are trying to screw on, whether it be a atomizer/cartomizer etc

There are breather holes, and when you bottom them out you are essentially blocking the holes .. thus, the draw would be harder.

Try winding back to a mil to allow airflow and see how you go.

Again, I am myself new to this .. somebody on here should be beable to elaborate more!

Well punching a carto should make a difference in how stiff the drag is because your punched whole is submerged in liquid, so no air is going to get to it. I dont know what cartos you are using or PV but if my daw is stiff i usually unscrew it a little and look for the air holes that are on the bottom of the carto. Sometimes we can screw the carto down to far.

I am
Using a boge low resistance cart and I always make sure the carto is pushed far enough down in the tank so the breather holes on my device are exposed enough for air to flow through, so this is very baffling

The punching should make no difference relative to draw, unless the punch is going too deep or is just too large, which would cause constant flooding.

If the holes are not too deep, I would do the "daylight test". Hold it up towards a light or the outside -- can you see clearly through the carto center tube? If it is clogged, or the center tube is off center (tilted to one side), you can use a paper clip to straighten it out/open it up. Be careful poking the paperclip through, don't force too hard or you'll break the resistive wire.

Could just be some bad Boges, there have been a slew of complaints/problems recently.

I've moved on to the Smok 2Ω single coils after getting a wonky box of Boges. I like them fine.

As markfm alluded a hole should be hole, but maybe with your three new punch holes you are in fact squeezing off the center tube.

Well guys I figured it out, after fiddling with it for the better part of the night I discovered after blowing out my so called "bunk" carts into an old ejuice bottle, that little peices of rubber from the bottom inner o-ring had made its way into the tank and were being drawn through the holes I had punched, hence the stiff drag. I'm in a habit of everytime I fill my tank, popping the top of my bottle off an blowing the overflow back in, guess I'm gonna need a filter to catch any rubber that might make its way in ;)
