U can also use a 3ml syringe tube. Its the same diameter but thicker just have to cut to size, and u can get them at any cvs type store. If you wanted you could always do a 10ml syringe mod, but thats a little different.

Do the 3mil syringe tubes last longer? My clearomizers haven't cracked much yet. But I'm assuming the tubes will eventually need to be replaced.

Me too. I fall back on BD 3ml.

I've gotten to where I just leave the plunger end entact...finger tabs and all and cut the needle end off with a dremel disk.

The plunger end fits down over my CE2. I shove it pretty far on there. Never had one leak yet.

I make mine a little longer than the stock sleeves and use my own Drip Tips...seems to add some flavor to me having a slightly longer tube.

I know I am new here, but I strongly agree with the 3ml trick! The plastic is much more durable, its a tight fit, but that just means alot better leak protection.

My Bro-InLaw works at a gas station, so he always has his entire e-cig in his pocket (Box Mod with On/Off Switch + CE2-X XL's with Modded 3ml tubes) His Tubes never break, and I keep mine in my jacket pocket all the time, and same results.

With the regular stock tube on the Rev. 2 of the CE2, the tube cracked within 3 days on me, then my bro-inlaw and myself both did the 3ml tube replacement, And I wont use anything else for a "stock" tube replacement.

Here is how big the 3ml tube is in thickness compaired to a stock tube:

I took this pic with my LCD screen in the background since im taking these pics with my phone, but you get an idea of how much thicker the plastic is. Its not hard to fit the plastic over the 510 connector at the bottom at all, and its nice and tight!

And as drewk302 said, you can get bigger to do a tank mod.

These are just 2 examples, and there are many more threads about tanks around the forums.

First is my BIG tank on an CE2 XL, 2nd one is my "mini" tank on a CE2 XL, then the 3rd is a stock sized CE2 with the 3ml tube replacement

EDIT: you can get the 3ml syringe from walgreens for $0.25 each, and if you are using it to replace the tube of a stock sized CE2 (not the XL) then each Syringe can give you 2 replacement tubes after you cut them to size.

I like the idea of the larger tank mod, but if that picture doesn't look suspiciously like some kind of cr*ck or m*th pipe, I don't know... I'd expect to have to explain that one to the cops at least more than once. LOL

LOL, so far, i've had no questions yet! I do get ALOT of crazy looks when I pull out my Syringe to refill my carto's LOL

Hey guys! Thanks so much for this idea! (and thread) I really loved the idea of clearomizers but after one refil they ofcourse cracked. I happen to be the type of person who can not let a perfectly good atomizer go in the trash, and they were about to go there. So i started searching for replacements and came across this. I just left walgreens and 30 minutes later I have re-tubed them! Thanks!

A little bit of Goof Off or some similar solvent will take them right off. i've been using all sizes of syringe tubes for all sorts of mods and they work great. they got enough flex they dont break if they get squeezed and dont seem to react as much to harsher juice. You do have to pay attention to the brands though. the bd brand is the only one i found that fits close enough to be a direct replacement for the stock tube.
