I noticed in a closed thread that someone asked how to string the wicks back through the coil and wanted to respond. (but since it's closed, I could not)
I have had a lot of wicking issues w/ this type of clearomizer and have had to do a lot of fiddling with the wicks. (they keep burning) I had to completely take out the wicks in several and replace them w/ spares I just happened to have (need to find replacement wicks, I heard Clouds of Vapor has them so I will be looking there first)
Anyway... the easiest and most efficient way I've found to get the wicks back in there is a collaspable eye needle. You can find them by the sewing area of any craft store and I believe even Walmart has them. I prefer the ones that look like this.
I got 5 of these mo fo's for under $2 at Pat Catans and they work wonderfully. CollapsibleNeedlex3.jpg

The brand I found is from Beadalon but the brand isn't very important. If you are a crafty ....., you may even be able to make these w/ really thin wire. You just take it, fold it in half and make the loop. Then twist it the rest of the way down... But if you are able to find them premade, it's much easier and they're cheap as hell anyway.

Glad I found this post, So the wick is suppose to go through the coils? my wick pretty much feel apart today and i try to just use what was left of it, I just sat it on top of the coil and it just keeps burning when I push the button, the taste is awful at first thought it was just my juice being nasty.. so the wick itself goes through the coil. there is a small piece of something in the tube thing ( sorry does anyone have a picture that shows what each thing is called?)
I ordered some new Wick today from vaporextreme but I guess it will do no good if i do not understand the proper way to reinstall it.
Thanks

Yes, on the CEs the wick goes through the coil. On the Kangers and other bottom coils, there are actually two wicks, one through the coil and one just laying on top of it, under a metal post. (For some reason called the flavor wick, btw.)

In a pinch, or actually as a usual wick if you like the way it vapes, you can use 100% cotton yarn, or sufficient 100% cotton cheesecloth strands - you have to unweave the cheesecloth for that, or even cotton twine.

If you do that, give it plenty of time to initially start wicking. A dry hit on cotton is frequently going to burn the wick in two!
