if i remove the existing fibre wick and repalced it with a ss mesh wick and made it long enough to run threw the wick holder and just sit on the coil would this work or would it short out?
replacing egot atomizer fibre wick with ss mesh wick?

Works for me, I've been doing this for months. Just make sure your wick is oxidized properly.

what size ss mesh r u using ? and is there any special technique your using when u roll up the mesh. so your not using any fibre wick with this ?

400 mesh, about 12mm in length and 15mm width rolled to fit through the spike plate. When I replace the spike plate I have the wick even with the angle of the spike, put it on the cart. and insert it into the atty and let the coil push the wick to the right height. Works great for me, YMMV.

This seems like a interesting idea for a Ego-C atty as well.
Now I wonder. What is the result? Does the liquid still touches the coil or does it stay in the wick? Does is get gunk like the silica wick that seems to touch the coil?
What are the benefits over the silica wick?
