I'm only in my second month of vaping, having been a heavy smoker for 25 years. But I've certainly done my research in this short time and, after trying a dozen different clearomisers and tanks, found the Kanger T3s to be perfect for my tastes. I.e. it delivers huge amounts of rich tasty vapour on my V-Tube! However, I have found that I still end up with the last quarter of any liquid looking and tasting burnt, that is until I replaced the flavour wick on the T3s with a rolled up piece of ordinary cotton wool. Now, not only can I vape literally down to the last drop with no discolouration or burnt taste, also the draw is improved (less airy) and I never get and gurgling at all. Simple yet incredibly effective and I'm saving on all that cruddy liquid I used to just wash down the sink.

Hey nick, you are just replacing the 2 little pieces of wick laying on the top correct? Sorry for the dumb question, what is cotton wool? Did you have to do anything special to it or did you just wind it up and lay it in there? I am very interested in this as I've wanted to replace that wick to extend the life of the heads.
Thanks in advance!!!

Ok, I don't need anything that's more complicated and I'm not ready to rebuild coils.
I am just looking to replace those 2 little pieces of wick laying on the top. Everytime I clean the head I end up with those wicks just falling apart no matter how careful I am. Any suggestions on what wick would work the best for that? Does it have to be a specific Ohm or size? Sorry, new to the wicking thing.

BTW, I do dry burn the wick on the coil when I clean the head. It works great. I follow this video

No apologies needed. The coil is measured in ohms and not the wick. Yeah short silica wicks fall apart easily. You can use surgical 100% cotton (if you take a lighter to it and it turns to ash it's 100% cotton). Organic cotton yarn can be bought or you can use cotton balls. Make sure you boil it for about 20 minutes before using- dry out and twirl a small wick.

The flavor wicks are there to plug the gap that the silicon washer cap doesn't seal. Not enough wick and it'll gurgle, and too much it'll be strangled and give dry hits.
