Im not very happy with the supplier I chose to buy my new e-power. It arrived without the correct instructions, everything in the box looked like it was thrown in there, The PV had the battery all ready in it (when I picked it up the light came on and off. when I moved it around in my hand it would come on and off) Further more the switch is broken and just stays on. To add even more the Carto was melted from what looked like the thing bouncing around in shipping and turning on and off. Im sure that atomizer is toast. Oh yeah and Im still waiting to hear back from them after 2 days. Maybe thats a little impatient but customer service is important to me. There policy is if they send you the wrong item they will pay the shipping but if they send you a broken item they wont. If I had a fast response on my problem I would still do business with them regardless of the return policy. Anyway enough venting. Who has good customer service with an actual person on the other end of the phone.

Ditto..very reputable company..after a lot of research before buying ecigs online I found MadVapes to get the best reviews overall in price and reliable..they haven't disappointed yet..although they are a bit busy this week and it took a little longer to process my order I usually get orders from them in 2-3 days and the longest has been 5 days..in my 7 months of buying ecigs online I haven't had to go to another site yet :)

mad vapes. i recommend them all the way

I purchased my E-Power 14650 in November from Hoosier. I recommend Hoosier.

-Hoosier sells the E-Power 14650 with the blue LED switch module. It's a proven performer with LR attys and cartos down to 1.5 ohms. I don't advise purchasing any E-Power 14650 equipped with the white LED switch module.
-The proprietor Brent offers excellent customer service. I emailed Brent my cell phone number regarding customer service twice and he returned my call the same day.
-Hoosier prices are quite competitive if you compare vendors. He charges a reasonable rate for shipping, he processes the order fast and uses USPS priority mail. I usually get my shipment from Hoosier 3-4 business days after ordering online. You get what you pay for.
-Hoosier ships the E-Power 14650 with two protected Li-ion 14650 batteries, a wall charger and Smoktech single coil 2.0 ohm LR XL cartomizers. They work great. If you want a warmer and heavier vape, you can also order the Smoktech single coil 1.7 ohm LR XL from Hoosier.

Most E-Power kits have one battery already in the unit. All that other stuff though shouldnt happen. My kit came with one battery in the unit already but my E-Power has worked flawlessly since the day I got it. Im still using all my original parts even though I bought some extras.
As far as the LED going on and off, it sounds like that could be from not making a great connection. I recommend taking the spring out and stretching it some. Is the spring from your kit silver or gold? Take the spring out, carefully stretch it a tiny bit and then put it back in. Get it facing the right way, then put a battery in to push it back in place. That will push it up against the switch more and should help give it a better connection.
And what color is the switch LED?

What vendor did you get it from? You can say it

As far as the instructions go. Forget about it. They're always a half assed translation from Chinese. But if you got a defective unit, and it sounds like you did, the retailer should replace it now. If they don't, vent here and in the complaint forum. They will lose business if they don't make things right.

I had a similar situation with my e-power, which I ordered from Hoosier. Crappy directions sent as well as the wrong switch, which they knew weeks before that the switches were bad. I'm still waiting on my new switch because days after promising to send it, I learned on a follow up call that he forgot to send it..

The whole process feels .like a comedy sketch..

There's no if about if you put them in backwards. THEY WILL FRY! I did it twice...once when I was in a rush and once when I wasnt paying attention. POOF! And OWW!!! hot like u know what! lol I am a slow learner...I know lol But otherwise, great little PV!

The switch parts of their E-power with their little regulating circuit board in them is the weak part. Always buy spare switches. And be careful not to put batteries in backwards which I heard can kill the switches.

Or you could buy a totally mechanical 3.7v mod and not worry about any circuit board.

Is the 18650 generally a good product?

...nobody knows...these were completely removed from conscientious vendors shelves a couple of months ago because of massive QC issues...the new ones with, a one piece batt tube and switch are just now hitting the market and are an unknown entity...didja get one with a separate switch/batt tube or is the batt tube/switch one unit??????
madjack:2cool:

p.s. if someone RECENTLY got an 18650 model with the separate switch and batt tube, then IMO you got taken by a vendor trying to palm off left over parts...once again, this my opinion only!!!!!..............mj

I agree with madjack, based on what I've read. There is also a YouTube review of the 18650 with a switch that failed after a few months of use. I haven't used the 18650.

I have no such reservations regarding the E-Power 14650 provided it's purchased from Hoosier (who have it with the good blue LED switch).

Its the new one piece tube and switch that doesnt come apart. You put the battery in the end opposite of the switch. Anyway.....So if you put the battery in backwards in any e-power it renders the switch in operable? Glad they sent me the dirrections for a standard 600mah ego. Thing is..... I read that here and didnt put the battery in until I had conformation of the correct orientation - side at the spring
