I pretty much survived on those in high school. When they discontinued them, I was devastated.

A couple of companies have made similar pies since, but I don't know of any that currently make them.

If someone has a recipe for Hostess Blueberry Pie, I would be forever grateful.

Please, no custard notes, and no FW. Prefer TFA or FA recipes.

While I'm at it, my mom makes amazing Lemon Meringue Pies, which are a little more sweet and a little less tangy. Any suggestions on that, as well? :)

15% Capella Lemon Meringue Pie in your base of choice. Done. It is a rather sweet and pleasing taste. If you prefer more lemon, bump it up a tad with some lemon lime flavor.

I am working on a few chocolate recipes, but your post about Hostess blueberry pie has inspired me to attempt to nail down a Hostess chocolate pie flavor. Heh.

Does anyone know how you might turn Billberry into more of a blueberry syrup flavor over natural?

I'm trying to figure out what I might mix to make this...

I think I will take someone's suggestion in another thread to add a bit of FA Apple Pie (tiny amount) with Lemon and a small amount of meringue. But I don't want a lemonade taste, if that makes sense. I want Lemon Jello (which is what my mom uses, and is getting harder and harder to find). So it will probably be just a hint of lemon.

I don't know the safety of Capella's flavors, so I'll stick with FA and TFA for now.

Flavor West Blueberry tastes more like the syrupy, candy type blueberry that you're looking for. I also found a cool trick on accident the other week while mixing, thought this would be the right thread to share it.

I mixed Caps Vanilla Custard 2, Caps French Vanilla 2, and FW Blueberry and it ended up tasting alot like a blueberry muffin for some reason. This got me thinking back to my beginner days when I would buy juice from MBV. They had blueberry 'moo juice' and strawberry 'moo juice', or something along those lines. They tasted dairy-ish but also muffin-ish. I always wondered how they got the muffin taste even though FW (Flavor West, their main flavor supplier) doesn't sell muffin. It seemed like a weird recipe to me.. dairy, muffin, and fruit?

I'm pretty sure its just FW Vanilla Custard mixed with FW blueberry, maybe with FW Bavarian Cream added. Anyway, give it a shot. A custard, a cream, and a fruit, and for some reason, it has tasted muffin-like in my experiences. Maybe that would be a decent base for your experiment.

Lemme dig up my notes for the exact recipe..

FW Blueberry - 9% (PG)
Caps Custard V2 - 6% (PG)
Caps French Vanilla V2 - 3% (PG)
FA Vienna Cream - 1% (PG)
.09% Saline Solution - 2%
VG Base/VG Nic Base - 79%
