Exactly! I'm reading medical articles all the time and it's a wonder consensus is ever reached, especially with something this controversial. That's why "the saga continues".

Yeah, I can read medical stuff; I may not know every word, especially when they're throwing around chemistry and biochemistry terms, but I can kinda-sorta follow along (like the OSHA stuff about diketones). That article in the OP... geez, what a mess.

All I know is: formaldehyde smells bad, and so does formalin, which is a dilute formaldehyde; judging from the smell, it would taste godawful. If I get a dry hit (hasn't happened in a while, but when I first started, yeah), it tastes NASTY. It tastes BURNT. I can well believe there may be formaldehyde in that, it tastes so horrible. But no one with ANY tastebuds is going to voluntarily vape that. So I'm in the camp that says that there is NO formaldehyde, in the absence of a dry hit.

People who don't vape at all have nothing to worry about, and ought to keep their traps firmly SHUT.
