reset hole on evic v2

Can anybody tell me what the reset hole on the evic v2 is all about. A friend has a one with a drop in coil tank only on it and it won't work unless he sticks a pin in the reset hole..thanx

Question wasn't answered and took brother Bobs advise and posted it on the joyetech forum...The thread was removed by an admin for some reason..

means you posted the same post twice. Should have asked an admin to move your original post to the Joytech forum rather than posting again. Takes a bit time hanging out here to get the hang of the rules.

If it was removed that would explain why I couldn’t find it when I searched for it.

Let’s see what I can remember... iirc the consensus was that the hole is exclusively for resetting firmware which means he has a software issue and should try to get a copy of the 1.0 firmware from somewhere and flash it. Or something like that

Geez all he's ever been running on it is an iclear 30s with 2.1ohm coils...firmware-flash it..........anyhows thanx anyway.
