After you use a coil for a while, typically the resistance creeps up. I assume this is from the wire getting gunked up or thermal stress. This is what usually happens. The last carto I installed in my tank started out at 3.0 ohms (SR carto), has been dropping all week and is now at 2.1 ohms. This seems odd. Does anyone know why this would happen? I know it's not a big deal for me, but what if this was a 0.5 coil? This would be bad bad bad. Any idea?
