So I have a question. When I build my coil it's coming through at 1.2 ohms. I'm not sure if it's when I put the cotton etc. in there but I feel the first hour or two it hits awesome. After that it feels like it's building resistance. I measured it and it's measuring at 5.0 ohms. Is it the cotton or what could that be?

Thanks guys!

Edit: This morning I built it and it read 1.23 or something like that before I put cotton or squonked. Could the resistance be the juice and cotton or?

Edit #2: I reattached it to my reo and it's hitting like a truck again. Maybe I didn't have it tightened enough to make a good solid connection. I still would like to know why the ohms bump up from 1.23 to 5+ ohms.

It is always a good idea to check screws right before you put it on your REO. Sometimes putting in cotton or adjusting the coil can wiggle the screw just a little!

I have had a screw loosen up after a day of use also. So always a good idea to check them if you have any problem.
