hello, i changed from a TI to a nickle coil on my evic vtc mini / ego one mega tank. i unlocked the resistance before changing, once i reinstalled the tank it read the coil and made itself .21 ohm, and i locked it. but when i press the fire button, i see it is rising above .21 up to .43. it still produces vapor fine.

is this normal or a problem? i dont want to use it improperly. thanks in advance.

worth mentioning that i just updated the firmware to 2.0 - i stumbled across this on another forum, can somebody confirm?

"With the new firmware update it added "Dynamic Resistance". It now shows the resistance changes live."

"And your original reading is still locked in for TC. It just shows live what the actual resistance is while firing."

"As long as it shows that it is locked, it is still locked. The firmware update added realtime resistance readings, you should see it drop back to the locked resistance when you are not firing.

Locking the resistance serves to make sure the mod had a baseline. TC works by monitoring the change in resistance to determine what the current temp is. After the update, the Evic is showing you what the actual resistance is at any point in time. So all is normal, nothing to be concerned with."
