That is the problem with depending on an electronic device. They will eventually fail. It is always a good practice to have a few backup units to fall back on when things go wrong. When I got my Prodigy I was thinking about selling off a few of my devices that I wouldn't be using anymore but glad I didn't now. I had my switch or something go wrong a few days ago. The thing just would not work and then it just started working again for no apparent reason. Had to be something in the switch. That seems to be the weak link.
At any rate, that really stinks guy, I feel for you. Hope you get the problem worked out before you have to buy some of those stinky things. Do you have any other devices that might get you through? If not it may be time to get a few. The Protege looks nice. The price is right too.

Now all you need is to stock up on atomizers. There are some good deals on bulk packs. That's what I have been ordering lately. The 510 for the Pass thru... hey that would be a good backup device for you. And it's only 39 bucks. Do you have one of those. I like the heck out of mine. And the adaptors will interchange with the Protege. That is a plus for sure. If you get one go for the 510. It's awesome at 5v.
