Type of resistor in the Prodigy V1?

I know that the resistor is 2 watt, 0.5 ohm... but what *type* of resistor is it? Is there a specific part number I can look for online?

I'm just having trouble figuring out what kind of resistors to get, so that I can repair my Prodigy switches myself after the warranty runs out. I'm not an electrician, so I don't know much about resistors and such. I am fairly adept at easy soldering jobs, though, so I figure I can repair the switches myself when they need it.

I just need to know what kind of resistor to get. There seem to be different types, and I want only the ones that are appropriate for the Prodigy.

Can anyone offer some info?

We order in bulk, so our supplier wouldn't likely be the best.

But ... Mouser, another good electronics place has them, and you can buy 1 at a time if need be:

Resistors are UBER cheap .... So stalking up is quite cheap
