Can someone here post a picture of the prodigy switch with the resistor and how its supposed to look?

Yesterday my prodigy inexplicably stopped working. After ruling out batteries and the atomizer, I figured it must be the switch. I removed the switch easily, and it is totally clean, not burnt...but it just stopped working. The only thing I noticed is that the resistor seems to be soldered in on only one side. There is a rigid piece of wire coming out the other side of the resistor but its not connected to anything. It doesn't appear that anything broke off from there or anything...but I am wondering how I might be able to repair this my self. Even though I am under warrantee...my emails to PS have gone unanswered and the weekend is here...so I need to get this thing working.

I would appreciate any suggestions

Do you have voltage at the atty connector? The bottom brass pin is connected to the input lead of the switch. The output lead of the switch is connected to one side of the resistor. The output of the resistor is connected to the top brass pin. You should have voltage at the atty connector when you depress the switch.

a2dcovert covered the switch/resistor connections perfectly. Unless you have a meter it'll be difficult to test the switch.

If you discover that the resistor is soldered in after all, go straight to where the atomizer center mates with the brass pin on the switch. Chances are decent it's not making a connection and an adjustment will be necessary.
